Role Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

Verde is looking to hire team members to help join our catering and events team! The position will mainly be mornings Monday - Friday, with occasional weekend events. Team members can have a set schedule each week or a flexible schedule. The typical shift will start between 9-10AM Monday - Friday at our location on Coleman Boulevard in Mount Pleasant. We routinely have off-site sales at various locations in the Charleston area, most often at hospitals or office buildings.
The catering events team member will be responsible for picking up the food from the Coleman Boulevard location, setting up the event site (typically an inside kiosk/stall) and vending food on-site. You will be reimbursed for all mileage driven in your personal vehicle and/or use a company vehicle to travel to locations. We do have many vendors that are healthcare settings and some require valid vaccinations from COVID-19. Our store policy is flexible and can be discussed on a case by case basis.
We can offer full or part time hours. Full time hours will be supplemented by working within our normal store or working as an off-site vendor for special events. This position works under close supervision and is primarily responsible for performing all duties and tasks associated with one of the work cells listed below, as assigned by plant management, while adhering to quality standards according to GMP, sanitation and safety procedures. Knowledge of the SAP functions listed below must also be mastered.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. * Sets- up (assembles and disassembles), operates, adjusts and cleans equipment to produce color products and packages these finished goods according to quality, GMP, safety and sanitation standards. Operations may include blending, filling and packing procedures.
2. * Locates, prepares, transfers and loads materials to be processed; transfers WIP or finished product to filling operation, additional processing operations, storage or shipping area.
3. * Prepares packing materials (drums, pails, boxes) and packaging labels and stacks or stages containers for transfer.
4. Draws samples and takes to QC lab for testing per product specifications. Confers with lab technicians and supervisors and makes adjustments to the process to bring the product within specification.
5. Prints and applies labels to product.
6. Completes necessary paperwork or data entry for production/lab records and inventory levels.
7. Follows all GMP, safety, sanitation and quality specifications and procedures.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
1. Ability to read, write and speak English.
2. Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts to the production process including conversion of weight and volume in the metric system.
3. Ability to read and follow a recipe for mixing and/or blending product.
4. Ability to operate a forklift.
5. Ability to use basic hand tools (hammer, screwdriver, wrench) for assembly and disassembly of equipment.
6. Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers regarding the status of the production process.
7. These characteristics are normally acquired through a High School Diploma or GED with experience in a production environment preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working environment is a production unit and includes frequent exposures to wet, humid, dusty, or loud conditions, moving machine parts, fumes or airborne particles and caustic chemicals. A company issued uniform is required to be worn along with personal protective equipment at all times. This can include coveralls, dust mask, hearing protection, hair/beard net, safety glasses, gloves, and safety shoes. Work may occur in small rooms with air lock compliance to avoid interdepartmental contamination.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk, hear, lift and/or move materials or equipment up to 50 lbs, use hands to finger, handle objects, tools or controls and roll bags, scoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and use foot/feet to operate machinery. North American Imaging is looking for Production Technician. Reporting to Production Manager

You will be responsible for refurbishment x-ray tube assemblies. You will assist in the production process by performing tasks such as assembling, testing, and packaging medical supplies and equipment. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure consistent quality. Understands what is critical to quality at the processes where they are trained. Has basic awareness of the electronic systems used in operations, but minimal to no interaction with the system(s)
What You'll Do:
Refurbishment of X-ray tube assemblies
Refurbish x-ray tube housing assembly by removing x-ray insert and replacing it with a new x-ray tube insert.
Replacing all bio-degradable components (O-rings, seals and bellows)
Quality assurance
Testing of the x-ray tube housing assembly-high voltage and performance testing.
Pre label and QC on finished x-ray tube housing assembly.
Final QC and labeling on finished x-ray tube housing assembly.
Inspects equipment and evaluates performance using diagnostic equipment.
RGA/ Evaluation.
Preventative maintenance
Ensures equipment is within calibration intervals.
Reworks product as requested by Director of Engineering.
Ensures product identification and traceability within department.

Success here isn't about prior boatbuilding experience - it's about what you bring: a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and the drive to learn. Whether you come from boats, carpentry, trades, or simply enjoy building and problem-solving, you'll have the opportunity to grow into the craft of boatbuilding from the ground up.
Experience with lamination, infusion, composites, or other marine manufacturing processes is a plus, but not required - we will train the right people!
This is a hands-on role in a manufacturing environment. Candidates should be comfortable:
Being on their feet for most of the day
Climbing in and out of boats and working in tight spaces
Using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Performing physical tasks as part of daily production work
