1st Shift (6:00 am - 2:00 pm) - Production Lines Hourly Rate: $14.18+, plus benefits Tends machine that performs one or more packaging functions such as filling, marking, labeling, banding, taping, packing, or wrapping containers by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and responsibilities: Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. Starts machine and observes operation to detect malfunctions of machine. Stops machine and reports malfunction to supervisor. Makes minor adjustments or repairs such as opening valves, changing forming and cutting dies, setting guides, or clearing away damaged product containers. Inspects filled container to ensure that product is packaged according to specifications. Feeds product to conveyors, hoppers, or other feeding devices, and unloads packaged product. Replenishes packaging supplies such as wrapping paper, plastic sheet, boxes, cartons, glue, ink, or labels. Counts supplies on spindles or places supplies in hopper or other feeding devices. Positions and holds container in machine and depresses pedal, presses button, or moves lever to clean, glue, label, sew, or staple container. Makes sure machine is clean and helps in putting machine together. Connects the bulk tank to machine and verifies lot number and expiration with batch ticket. Start of production follows steps in BT (line clearance and opens line.) Makes sure Lot number is printing correct on material. Changes Lot number during runs and verifies with QC and team lead. Assist packers in labeling boxes if necessary. Palletizes all finished good and moves pallets to designated QC lane. Checks all finished good for leakers, miss prints or any discrepancies during production. Keeps count of finished goods produced by operator and submits information to team lead at end of the shift. Ability to perform Production Machine Operator II duties and responsibilities while absent or short staff. Reports To Athletic Director Work Year Days Varies by the season Primary Purpose The Broadcast Production Tech will be responsible for assisting in the production of all live and pre-recorded production aspects of the district. Will also support campus broadcast programs through equipment and software training relating to live and pre-recorded broadcasts. Qualifications Education/Certification:Minimum age 16 Special Knowledge/Skills:Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to follow procedures and guidelines Experience in live production environment Knowledge with production software and hardware Knowledge of basic computer hardware and software applications Ability to troubleshoot and correct basic technology-related problems Knowledge in Google Suite (docs, sheets, forms, etc.) Knowledge of Adobe Suite (after effects, photoshop, premier pro) Major Responsibilities and Duties Collaborate with Fine Arts, Student Services, Athletics, and Communication departments to promote all district programs and student achievements. Assist in producing all playoff athletic broadcasts. Assist in scheduling production crews, writing production scripts, and producing a live broadcast stream of all high school graduation ceremonies with the Student Services Department.Record, edit, and create digital downloads all high school graduation ceremonies.Plan, assist, and produce the Marching Band Showcase event with the Fine Arts Department. Write production scripts, create basic graphics, and assist the Broadcast Director in all aspects of broadcast production.Oversee and advise in equipment installation, programming, and training for the Career and Technical Education Center TV studio.
