Ensures compliance with all pertinent SOPs/WIs and established procedures, WO requirements and GMP compliance during all production related activities. Performs GMP/Safety Audits to ensure GMP standards are followed daily. Maintains tools and work areas clean and orderly according to GMP practices and routinely sanitizes equipment following specified cleaning procedures. Follows waste management and recycling procedures. Utilizes current inventory system to account for material usage, close work orders, and make inventory adjustments as necessary. Operates an RF device to induct bulk, components and move materials to active location. Responsible for completing all tasks and transactions in MKBS to replenish components and bulk, completing work order documentation, ensuring completion of accurate materials returns, resolving material variances in the work order, and closing work order upon completion. Records production information in the Mary Kay Business Systems (MKBS) and the manual production log in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Enters into MKBS all proper locations, Troubleshoots and assists with system issues audits work orders for errors.
* Responsible for ensuring successful equipment changeovers, including cleaning machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary, lubricating moving parts to ensure effective performance, installing replacement parts, and recording and reporting damage, worn, or broken parts. Intermediate bulk container setups, filler installation (hopper, filler block, nozzles), and secondary packaging setups (cartoner, case packer). Assembles nozzles, piping, filters, hose connections, and ancillary equipment. Operates packaging equipment, including pumps, plate followers, heaters, and uses automated packaging equipment to fill cosmetics and personal care products from bulk materials to finished products. Competent in all packaging production areas, including alcohol products which require specific training. Maintains change part inventory and uses maintenance system to request change parts modifications or replacement inventory. Evaluates and assist in resolving minor equipment issues, such as clearing jams, product labeling errors, and resetting system faults. Partners with mechanics to identify and resolve major mechanical and/or quality issues.
* Responsible for successfully completing production start-up/setup activities and in-process product inspections to maintain and control product quality to prevent costly production errors. Knows and understands the quality evaluation system for packaging and acts as a resource to the team. Documents various in process measurements during the bulk filling, such as fill weights, volume, temperature, torque, and other functional tests using MKBS. * Responsible for MTTR (Mean Time To Repair), MTBF (Mean Time Before Failure), OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), and meeting all defined production targets and quality standards. Utilizes MKBS to maintain a record of scrap and downtime on the production line. Responsible for maintaining 6S, workplace organization, and cleanliness practices on the line.
* Follows safety precautions to prevent product contamination and injury to self and others. Assists in meeting departmental production objectives and contributes to performance improvement initiatives within team to simplifying and standardizing work processes and promoting teamwork and self-discipline. Promotes continuous improvement by proactively sharing ideas and issues with management to assist in eliminating waste, improving productivity, and promoting safety. Intermediate bulk container setups, filler installation (hopper, filler block, nozzles), and secondary packaging setups (cartoner, case packer). Assembles nozzles, piping, filters, hose connections, and ancillary equipment. Operates packaging equipment, including pumps, plate followers, heaters, and uses automated packaging equipment to fill cosmetics and personal care products from bulk materials to finished products. Competent in all packaging production areas, including alcohol products which require specific training. Production Operator IIPerforms a variety of tasks requiring knowledge of production processes and responsible for day to day operations associated with the production lines.
Essential Functions
Responsible for overall maintaining of a production line, including starting and stopping of all equipment (palletizers, carton makers, carton sealers, drop packers, injection, etc.) as applicable.
Ability to perform minor adjustments to production equipment as directed. No mechanical work is to be performed without prior approval.
Responsible for accurately completing and updating information forms and logs such as Machine Report, Quality Report, Downtime Report and Carton Top Load Report

Maintain quality requirements in accordance with company standards; accurately filling out hourly inspection sheets based on overall production quality. Responsible for recognizing and reporting all quality defects immediately.
