We are seeking an Audio Production Specialist to develop, produce, and distribute high-quality audio content in support of government communications and public engagement efforts. This role works closely with government communications and multimedia teams to deliver accurate, engaging audio products across multiple platforms.
What you will do as a Audio Production Specialist
Conceive, develop, write, and produce audio content across a range of formats, including segments, programs, series, and podcasts focused on research and science-related topics.
Coordinate, conduct, and record interviews with researchers, subject matter experts, and other guests.
Write, report, narrate, and host audio segments and podcasts.
Edit audio content, including spoken word, natural sound, music, and sound effects, into polished audio packages, segments, and podcasts.
Produce and support distribution of audio content across appropriate platforms; notify media outlets and distribution partners of content availability.
Respond to inquiries from the public, media, and research community related to produced audio content in coordination with government communications teams.
Produce a recurring weekly video and audio podcast, including identifying and researching topics and guests, securing approvals, and delivering both audio-only and video versions.
Write, voice, and edit promotional audio features in multiple lengths (e.g., short-form and extended versions), including music selection and integration.

Requirements:
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited degree program.
