The Opportunity The Demopolis Solid Bleached Sulfate (SBS) Paperboard mill operates 24 hours per day, 7 days a week to meet quality production standards. The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of duties, in such a manner that maintains safe working conditions, maximum production, quality standards and preservation of equipment capacity and investment capital. How You Will Impact Smurfit WestRock * Work as a team member of the machine, finishing, recovery or pulp crew to produce quality SBS paperboard. * Perform all duties related to the overall function of the crew and comply with methods, procedures, techniques, safety rules and regulations which have been established. * Understand the equipment operation to aid in problem-solving and optimization. * Train on various jobs through ability and seniority. * Be engaged in safety improvements and participate in meetings.
