Machine Operator
Jacksonville, FL - onsite
Mon - Wed 6:00pm-6:00am + Thurs 6:00pm-12:00am
Primary Purpose: This position will support the DC process and the fulfillment of orders through the operation maintenance of equipment that includes case erectors, BoxSizer machines, etc.
The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in fulfillment operations to...
* Perform various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on case erectors and BoxSizer machines.
* Read and interpret set up instructions, troubleshooting guides and physically perform adjusting and set up changes as necessary to maintain proper operation of the machines.
* Load boxes onto the case erector belt and to remove and distribute boxes that have been constructed to the respective distribution processing area.
* Ensure boxes are properly filled as they enter the BoxSizer machine and address any boxes that the machines reject.
* Monitor and maintain the BoxSizer process by loading lids into the machine, adding glue pellets, changing tape and addressing jams and machine stopping will be part of the position's responsibilities.
* Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment
* Operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal downtime
* Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production from the machines at high quality levels

Job Description
Manufacturer in Palatka, FL is currently looking for 10 Production workers for a 1st shift, long-term position working 7 am to 3:30 pm M - F. Overtime will be regularly available and mandatory, occurring after 3:30 pm or on the weekends.
Duties will include measuring and mixing of components, assembly of materials, spray of insulation, trimming, repair, inspection and quality control.
Candidates must have a GED or Diploma, should be hard working, have worked in a non-climate controlled position and have 6 months experience in a production, warehousing or manufacturing environment.
Top performers will have an opportunity for permanent hire along with a pay increase to $11.00/hr, health benefits, and PTO.
Position starts at 9.50/hr.
