Obtains raw materials from Material Handlers. Cut material in accordance with specifications on the cut list. Notifies supervisor of any mechanical or material issues, including but not limited to defects in material, damage to the trailer, and deviations from work order. Ensures that the finished product meets quality expectations. Strives for the highest level of quality and understands the need for continuous improvement; supports the concept of “good enough is never good enough.” Maintains a clean and safe work area; works to reduce scrap, returns unused materials to the proper area, and disposes of waste properly. Follows all safety procedures, wears protective equipment (PPE), and reports any accidents or near misses to the supervisor immediately. Performs other related duties and assignments as required. DESIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Minimum: hands-on experience working with a variety of power tools Previous experience working in manufacturing or construction is helpful; however, on-the-job training may be provided.
