This position reports to the Production Supervisor
Responsibilities/Job Description:
Prepare, pour, weigh (metric and non-metric), blend, and determine mixing sequences of food products assistance
Read and interpret recipe formulas ensuring all ingredients have been compiled
Provide support to maintain the plant/facility to GMP standards/requirements by sweeping, mopping, cleaning and/or sanitizing floors, production equipment and parts, utensils, work surfaces and countertops, walls, racking, desktops, scales, etc.
Wear PPE as required and/or instructed
Learn to assist and operate designated equipment levers and/or controls to perform manufacturing operations per SOP/Instructions
Participate in on-the-job training as required, including cross-training in other departments to meet business needs
Work in a team setting
Ability to record, calculate and verify data while also ensuring accurate, clear, and complete documentation for GMP records
Learn how to read and interpret gauges, vacuum, pressure, and temperature levels
Assist in collecting testing, packaging, and other support for production data for each food batch or operation
Learn and assist in inspecting plant equipment for leaks, blockages, proper function, and/or other malfunctions
Assist in visually inspect food for consistency in texture, clarity, and bouquet
Learn how to operate heavy equipment such as a forklift, order picker, floor cleaners, etc.
Work safely, adhering to all company and OSHA safety regulations, policies, and/or expectations
Perform basic duties and/or tasks as directed by your supervisor and/or Management and comply with daily production schedule support
Comply with all written policies including but not limited to; all company policies, work instructions, SOPs, and GMP requirements
Flexibility to learn and perform other duties as needed and assigned including but not limited to, working overtime, working weekends, and flexing work schedules up or down to meet business needs
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, frequently reach with hands and arms, twist, bend frequently, stoop, squat, lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds

The General Production position will support plant operations by performing job duties that constitute the production, satisfaction is maintained at the highest inspection and distribution of products or services. Primary Functions and Duties
Maintains a safe and clean working environment, observes and follows all safety polices, wears appropriate and prescribed personal protective equipment (PPE). Must complete any necessary and/or required safety training
Maintain safe & orderly storage area by arranging material, products and equipment as required
Must practice good housekeeping skills (i.e., sweeping, wiping, mopping, trash disposal, etc.). Maintains a clean, neat and well-organized work area, which includes returning items to appropriate location and areas (i.e. backdrops, brass, strapping, pallet jacks, etc.)
Ensure that product is organized, stacked and stored appropriately in accordance with the facilities inventory process.
Immediately notifies line operator, line leads and management of quality issues and concerns. Finished Product should be visibly acceptable and inspected for 100% customer satisfaction (ie hoses are clean, neat, properly arranged in boxes/ packaging, crimped, utilized correct materials, etc.)
Takes ownership in ensuring products produced meet quality standards and are built according to the product specification sheet
Ensures all components are correct per the specification (i.e. verification processes, backdrops, brass, ties, etc.)
Demonstrates the ability to coil hoses both manually and through the use of technological automation.
Responsible for maintaining and stocking table area on the auto coiler
Ensure appropriate materials are readily available prior to running production
Load backdrops inside the auto coiler backdrop machine when needed in accordance with site safety processes and procedures
Clears loose scrap and obstructed hose from auto-coiler near the exiting conveyor in accordance with site safety processes and procedures
Insert ends and ensure all products are crimped in accordance with quality standards.
Meets and exceeds all pallets produced (per hour) goals
Demonstrates the ability to identify and re-set minor errors as displayed on the auto-coiler screen. GP personnel access levels for example: (i.e. if automated machines are required to be reset more than three times in a 60 minute interval maintenance personnel will need to be notified immediately)
Package product in an accurate, timely and safe manner

The Paper Converter independently operates a machine that converts large mill rolls of paper into fanfold paper or rewinds paper into rolls. In addition to the hourly rate, employees can earn a weekly bonus based on your production performance. We are hiring on 1st and 3rd shifts immediately.
Schedule:
10-hour shift- 4-day work week
Shift availability:
Day Shift - Monday- Thursday 5:00am-3:30 pm
Afternoons Monday- Thursday 3:30pm-1:30 am
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operates a fanfold machine or rewinding machine ensuring product is cut to proper length and width.
Loads rolls of paper on machine back stands and threads paper between feed rollers to wind smaller rolls of 2-ply or 3-ply of paper.
Observes flow of material through machine to detect irregular cutting and winding which may cause out of spec condition.
Guides fanfold bundle into off-load conveyor once bundle is finished.
Adjusts machine settings such as air pressures for brakes, tension and web control, adjust speed controls and alignment settings for paper.
Removes product from conveyor and places on pallet in upright or horizontal position according to skid loading diagram.
Applies splice tape to bundle and may apply splice tape to rolls.
Checks finished product to ensure it meets product specs reworks as required.
Verify product is correct to schedule and set up.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements
Monitor and operate a variety of machines throughout the shift.
Assist with the movement of raw, WIP, and finished materials.

Monitor product quality and ensure activities are performed to quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and work Instructions.
Accurately report daily machine production.

Perform changeovers with Maintenance and Engineering teams.
Work overtime as necessary to cover other shift operators and meet overall production demands.

In a Nutshell:
Laddawn has manufacturing facilities located from coast to coast, which allows us to rapidly ship to our customers no matter where they are located. You'll help us inspect and package finished product that wows our customers.
What you'll be doing:
· Packaging bags/rolls into boxes, weighing the boxes, and keeping accurate counts in the computer system.
· Performing quality control checks on product and ensuring that all products are properly labeled with a Q.C. sticker before stacking finished product.
· Keeping the work area clean and clutter free: picking up scrap materials around the production lines and cutting scrap off cores.
· Alerting Setup Technicians or Changeover Technicians using the light system to keep them informed of production status.
Scheduling
Production workers are scheduled 12 hours per day, 3 days one week and 4 days the next, and work every other weekend.
Day shift is scheduled from 7am-7pm. Night shift is scheduled from 7pm-7am.

Responsibilities
Review build documentation including MPIs, assembly drawings, ECOs, and customer requirements before starting work.
Manually insert through-hole components onto printed circuit boards according to polarity, orientation, and bill of materials (BOM) requirements.

Inspect solder joints and component placement for compliance with IPC-A-610 workmanship standards.

Prepares work area at beginning of shift and cleans up work area at end of shift and/or at end of production run to ensure area is ready for next job. Cleans or sanitizes all food contact surfaces between changes of product. Ensures availability of all required materials and supplies, using the appropriate lift trucks, hand jacks and other equipment once certifications are achieved.
Operates equipment, including troubleshooting and making adjustments in accordance with established work standards. Cleans and assembles equipment according to standard operating procedures.
Conducts quality checks at regular intervals; inspects ingredients and finished product to ensure product is processed according to specifications.
Truthfully and legibly completes required paperwork, written and electric reports. (i.e. Excel, Word, PCDA, Oracle, etc.).

Processing Area:
Examines product for identity and any impurities. Weighs out ingredients as listed using scales with printers and mixes ingredients, using appropriate mixing method, carefully and thoroughly.
Follows batch instructions on BPR or deviation to meet desired specification via use of reactors, blenders, mixers, fitzmill, metal detector, sifter, roller compactor, rotary press, oscillating granulator, tote tumbler, lift truck, hand jack and other equipment. Notifies supervisor, lead or R&D of any concerns with instructions on BPR or deviation.
Records all item and lot number information on production ticket. Documents and updates mix tickets and log book, ensuring that all information is written truthfully and legibly. Enters all information into computer system for tracking and accountability purposes, ensuring that all information is correct.
Lifts and places raw materials into appropriate tote or tank equipment or mixers via automatic or manual lifting. Properly labels bulk containers, mixes etc.
Keeps Quality Control and Research & Development departments informed, to ensure correct amounts of raw materials are used and to recommend improvements to existing products.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.

PRODUCTION OPERATOR I - WEEKEND E SHIFT (SPARKS) 6 PM - 6:30 AM Friday - Sunday
Production team member job in Sparks, NV
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirement; sets stops or guides to specified length as indicated by scale, rule, or template.
Activates machine and observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction.
Inspects finish product to determine accuracy of machine operation.
Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines and making adjustments.
Assists coworkers to set up machine, and to stack, mark, pack, and transport finished product.
Reduces downtime by assuring these tasks are performed promptly.
Complies with safety and GMP requirements.
SAFETY STATEMENT RESPONSIBILITY
Supports a culture of safe production and operations; follows all safety rules and procedures.
Actively participates in the safety program by: engaging in training activities to learn what constitutes a safety hazard; reporting safety concerns to the supervisor, submitting safety suggestions, and correct or report to the appropriate people when you see a workplace health or safety hazard, until it is resolved.
Assists with communicating safety information to new employees.
Fulfills responsibilities as outlined in the company safety management plan.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
