Work settings range from clean indoor lab to unprotected outdoor environments. The employee frequently handles packaged/boxed explosives, explosive articles and/or explosive powders and pellets. This may also involve instructing others in the proper handling, use, storage and transportation of these explosives. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee frequently works with powders, sometimes in a dusty environment and occasionally around fumes. Workers must not be overly sensitive (allergies, rashes, etc.) to working in these conditions. While rare, any accident could be catastrophic and potentially result in injury or death to many employees. Technical Requirements / Skills * Knowledge of quality systems (ISO, CE, etc.) * Good "hands on" mechanical aptitude and ability. * Able to read, understand, learn and follow written and verbal safety, quality and work instructions. * Bilingual a plus. D. Certificates, Licenses & Registrations * N/A E. Work Authorization / Security Clearance: * Able to meet ATF & regulatory security requirements. * Must be US citizen, or lawful permanent resident of the United States (student Visa does not qualify), in accordance with ATF regulations.
