Candidate position is for a technician in the client B3/B8 facility in Goleta, California, involved in the packaging of IR detectors for high reliability space, military and commercial applications.
Responsibilities:
A self-motivated, self-disciplined individual is the ideal candidate for this position.
Ability to work with individuals and teams outside the department will be required.
Tasks may include working with chemicals (epoxies, adhesives, solvents, etc.) and following rigorous disciplined methodologies and instructions.
Tasks may require the ability to push a cart, extend arms above shoulder height, and be able to visually inspect small parts.
Technicians will be expected to wear company provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and strictly follow all safety related processes, procedures, and protocols.
Requirements:Able to work from engineering instructions with exceptional attention to detail.

Familiarity using Z-scopes is preferred.

Warranty Claim Processing Team Member Job Duties:
The main function of this role is to process both manufacturer and customer warranty claims. This means fielding and responding to new warranty claim requests, processing incoming claims, performing detailed testing and analysis on parts, and documenting results. Team members are expected to be extremely detail oriented, thorough, and accurate. Ability to navigate computer programs, type, and process data quickly is a must.
Experience Needed:
Our ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical skills with a basic knowledge of hand tools and mechanical principles. Summary Description
The Blueberry Pack House Production Lead will work directly with production staff to ensure that daily production goals are met efficiently and safely. This role involves overseeing the cleanliness and functionality of material handling equipment, while fostering collaboration within the team to ensure that blueberry packing operations run efficiently. Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities
In collaboration with Packhouse manager, lead operations of the blueberry pack house, including organizing work schedules, assigning tasks, ensuring adequate staffing for all shifts, and managing the floor production team.
Monitor levels of stock material, in-process, finished inventory, and packaging materials daily to ensure continuous product flow efficient production runs. Assist with the preparation and documentation of production reports, inventory logs, labor hours and other required records
Oversee the packing process to maintain quality standards and minimize waste. Address any issues or challenges that arise during the packing process promptly and effectively.
Leader in developing and implementing a safe and healthy workplace for everyone. Training team members in new packing procedures, safety practices, and equipment operation incorporating safety in all jobs and tasks.
Maintains integrity of product quality and Good Manufacturing Practices / Food Safety program, Facility Sanitation and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) ensuring regulatory and food safety compliance. Reports to management teams regarding any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety and quality.
Identify opportunities to streamline operations and improve the efficiency of the packing process. Track key performance indicators like run rates, yields, labor, and time efficiency
Continuously look for ways to improve sustainability practices in your daily work routine and seek opportunities to contribute to sustainability goals set by your organization.

Qualifications

* Experience using general lab equipment like microscopes and small hand-held tools (tweezers, screwdrivers, etc.)

Qualifications We Prefer
* Experience using manual or automated wire bonders or tab bonders as well as pull testing equipment.
* Previous experience working in a cleanroom, around ESD sensitive parts is a plus.
