Summary:

Strip electroless nickel tanks and perform passivation as needed
Safely transfer solutions between tanks using pumps and proper valve alignment
Standardize, calibrate, and operate the electroless nickel controller
Monitor chemical levels and replenish materials when required
Maximize output from the process line, including managing multiple jobs at once
Conduct chemical analyses of E/N solutions and adjust as necessary based on results
Clean anode and cathode bars daily; add anodes as required
Clean horns and saddles three times weekly
Accurately complete work order tickets, daily line logs, customer part riders, and related paperwork
Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
Monitor equipment conditions and recommend repairs or replacements as needed
Activate parts using approved procedures
Suggest and implement improvements in areas such as processing steps, fixturing, or part handling
Read and execute instructions from printed work orders
Ensure customer parts meet all work order specifications
Comply with MFT, customer, and quality control standards including thickness, color, brightness, and coverage
Provide technical support to rackers, packers, and dryers on the process line
Train fellow employees on MFT processes as needed
Prepare chemical additions and make-up solutions as directed by the lab
Test acid concentration as part of process control
Bake parts when required to meet customer specifications
Operate acid and hand pumps and handle solution transfers
Maintain a safe working environment by handling chemicals such as acids, alkalis, and oxidizers properly
Adhere to safety committee, EHS department, and MFT safety requirements

Entry Level Production Worker:
A large company is looking for Production Workers in the Hauppauge area. We are looking for motivated individuals who are interested in long term work. The Production Worker can work quickly and accurately. There is plenty of overtime and room for growth.
Repetitive lifting up to 50 pounds

Flexible to work in similar environments
Spanish only is okay
Bilingual is a plus but not a must
Shifts: 7:30-4:00pm and 4:00pm-1:00am
Pay rate: $9-$10 per hour (increase after 90 days)

Summary:
The Production Operator works in an electronics manufacturing environment assembling printed circuit boards (PCBs). This role involves using computers and equipment to perform daily production tasks. Following instructions and maintaining attention to detail are essential to ensuring the quality of the products. Keeping the workspace clean and organized is a key part of maintaining high production standards. The Production Operator will be trained to operate various machines, including Pick and Place, Automated Optical Inspection (AOI), Selective Soldering equipment, and hand assembly. Flexibility is important, as the operator frequently moves between tasks and functional areas. Teamwork, punctuality, and communication are critical to the success of this role.
Requirements
* Organize and label products to ensure proper tracking during production.
* Apply gels and adhesives to components as part of the assembly process.
* Prepare electronic components for assembly into PCBs.
* Use basic hand tools for mechanical assembly tasks.
* Utilize machines to assemble printed circuit boards.
* Candidates must be a U.S. Person, defined as either a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder), and must be able to provide appropriate documentation upon hire to verify this status. Please note that some positions involve sensitive customer contracts and require U.S. citizenship as a condition of employment.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
Language Skills:
* Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
* Experience working in a team environment.
* Ability to lift 40 pounds.
* Ability to work on your feet.
* Familiarity with basic hand tools.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION - CORE:

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION - PRODUCTION:
Follows work instructions and is responsible for good quality
Grinds tubes and belts. Measures work piece dimensions to assess conformance.
Changes sandpaper when required.
Initials work order upon completion of job duty and inspection of work performed as acknowledgment of properly completing task.
Checks thickness gauges for accuracy.
Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or work pieces. Notifies Supervisor of any equipment malfunctions or quality problems.
Inspects ground tubes to meet work instruction requirements.
Performs a combination of production tasks, which may include loading machinery, positioning work, setting up jobs, adjusting and operating machinery.
May load and unload materials, parts or products; stock to designated work areas; pack products and may clean surface of machines and work areas.
Operates machinery and equipment. Inspects ground tubes to meet work instruction requirements.
Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
Able to access databases as necessary to retrieve work instructions in order to perform work.
Maintain own productivity while performing the duties mentioned above.
Prepares material to be move to next station.
Checks set-ups at beginning of shift to ensure grinder is in proper operating condition.
Notifies Supervisor when supplies need replenishing.
Follows all safety rule and procedures.
Maintain good housekeeping in department.
