Your Responsibilities:
* Perform various hand operations such as applying labels to products, cut, wrap products, use tape dispensers and the use of feet for flexion/repetitive motion as in operating foot controls
* Pack products in boxes and tape lids of boxes shut appropriately for proper shipping while inspecting product for any quality defects
* Stack, pack, and transport printed materials in various stages of completion on pallets as it accumulates on delivery tables of specific equipment
* Responsible for reading and following specific job instructions to produce an order according to spec
* Maintain attendance according to facility guidelines as well as be able to work constructively with co-workers, supervisors, vendors while performing daily responsibilities.
* Ability and willingness to float across departments and assist where needed
* Follow safety rules, procedures and standards
* Duties may occasionally be performed while seated but will likely be performed while standing

Also follows HACCP and SQF requirements for food quality and safety.
Essential Job Duties:
Inspects and takes corrective action at all times.
Monitors bottling line, filling cap bin, inspecting and assuring the continuous flow of bottles; and, monitors the accuracy of bottle coding.
Monitors labeler bottling line, filling labeler, inspecting and assuring the continuous application of labels; and, assures continuous supply of glue.
Monitors new bottles going into bottling room and corrects jamming.
Monitors case packer.
Documents case production on production sheet.
Follows standard operating procedures for all operations.
Maintains clean, orderly and safe work area at all times.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed

Unloads and stores all printing materials, cleans, and maintains storage areas, properly stores rigid substrates, and organizes storage racks.
Keeps the production area neat, clean, and organized, including sweeping, taking out the trash, and general clean up on a daily basis.
Assists in coordinating installs with Fabrication and Operations for tight deadlines and fast turnarounds.
Trouble shoots and performs on-site installations professionally and accurately without supervision.
Carefully tallies and packages all finished items for delivery or shipping, so they do not get damaged in transit.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Graphics Production Technician at Astound is responsible for executing high-quality graphics production processes, including SEG (Silicone Edge Graphics) staging, large format printing, vinyl application, and maintenance of production machinery. This role requires attention to detail, technical skill, and a focus on quality control to ensure all graphic products meet client specifications and company standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Large Format Printing: Operate large format printers to produce high-quality prints on a range of materials including fabrics, vinyl, and rigid substrates.
Vinyl Application: Apply vinyl graphics on various surfaces such as windows, walls, vehicles, and displays with accuracy, ensuring a smooth finish without bubbles or creases.
SEG Staging: Collaborate with the staging and sewing teams to review and test the fit of SEG graphics on frames and structures.
Machine Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on printing, cutting, and sewing equipment to ensure smooth operation and longevity.
Quality Control: Inspect finished products for accuracy, consistency, and quality to ensure they meet the required specifications before delivery.
Collaboration: Work closely with design teams, project managers, and other production staff to ensure seamless workflow and on-time project completion.
Inventory Management: Assist in tracking and managing stock levels for printing and sewing materials, ensuring adequate supply and timely reordering.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven experience in large format printing, SEG sewing, vinyl application, and machine maintenance.
Strong technical aptitude with a good understanding of graphics production equipment.
Ability to read and interpret graphic layouts and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Experience in handling various graphic substrates and knowledge of different printing techniques.
Knowledge of software related to printing and graphics production.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Comfortable working with machinery and production tools.
