ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Set up bins for shipping (make sure bins are clear of debris, move on & offline)
Check the first bag of every run and document the weight
Verify every bin has the correct code name
Inspect bag for foreign material
Isolate any unused hopper by bagging the outlet chute
Print Chemical Setup Sheet at the start of each production run
Remove air from bags and seal using a heat sealer
Make sure bags are sealed completely and placed in correct bin
Assist Lead Operator I as needed during setup of each production run
Correct problems on the line caused by chemical over/under weight requirements
Notify Lead Operator I or Supervisor/Scheduler when errors on production line happen immediately
Complies with company policies
Analyze and resolve work problems and assist in solving work problems using risk management
Make sure work area stays clean

Position Summary:
The Finishing Inspector is responsible for the inspection and editing of converted press product using a slitter / rewinder, finishing it into the correct format as dictated by customer specifications. The Finishing Inspector is responsible for meeting customer requirements while conforming to company standards for quality and job parameters.
Essential Functions:
* Inspects printed products to assess and evaluate quality conformance to specifications.
* Discards or rejects defective product that does not conform to requirements for print quality or product functionality.
* Operates finishing equipment at required speed to ensure proper slitting, alignment, and roll profile.
* Examines job orders to determine details such as finished quantities, production times, packaging specifications, and shipping requirements.
* Notifies supervisors and other personnel of production problems, and assist in identifying and correcting these problems.
* Loads, positions, and adjusts master press rolls on holding fixtures or in equipment loading and feeding mechanisms.
* Moves printed materials using lifts and transports them to storage or finishing areas.
* Pushes buttons or moves controls and levers to start and control finishing equipment.
* Monitors finishing equipment in order to maintain specified operating levels and to detect malfunctions; make any necessary adjustments.
* Maintains, or adjusts equipment using proper preventive maintenance techniques.
* Records finishing data specific to product quantities, copy position, packaging, and shipping requirements using the appropriate quality control forms.
* Responsible for verifying critical quality conformance to proper line clearance and product segregation processes.
* Ensures the work conducted within the production area is performed in a safe and efficient manner. Any unsafe work conditions are addressed immediately.
* Ensures adherence to all quality control processes and procedures and actively supports the company's internal audit program.

SHIFT

RESPONSIBILITIES
Assembly
* Receive pre-determined work order and parts from Lead Person or Supervisor.
* Check to ensure that parts received are correct and in good condition and report bad or questionable parts to appropriate Supervisor.
* Pre-assemble individual parts for assigned saws or trowels as needed, including wiring such items as engines, motors and switchboxes, and assembling engine components, water pumps, blade shafts and blade guards, front and rear axles, transmissions, cutting heads and other assemblies.
* Use hand tools, and pneumatic tools to assemble components into completed saws. Includes processes such (but not limited to) as sanding, oiling, measuring, bolting, wiring, aligning, tightening, and torqueing. Ability to read blueprints and follow documented and written instructions.
* Finish and touch-up completed saws and apply serial number decals. May include painting.
Quality
* Perform test run on completed saws to be sure they're in proper running condition.
* By use of a checklist, complete inspection paperwork and notify appropriate Supervisor of need for final inspection.
* Crate or box completed saws for shipment, insert appropriate literature and tools, and prepare for pick-up.
* Clean up and maintain tools and work area on a daily basis. Report need for tool repair to Supervisor.
* Maintain high-quality standards on all assembled parts by making sure parts fit and go together properly, machine is in good working condition, and paint finished and touched up, if needed.
* Expected to make suggestions for changing/improving procedures and specifications.
* Observe sound safety procedures at all times and to notify supervisor of safety or ergonomic issues.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
* At least 1-2 years' Mechanical Assembly experience
* Some automotive, engine build/repair or shop experience helpful
* Working knowledge of following verbal and written work instructions
* Ability to stand for long periods of time
* Must be able to hold pneumatic tools that create vibration for short durations.

Check to ensure that parts received are correct and in good condition and report bad or questionable parts to appropriate Supervisor.
Pre-assemble individual parts for assigned saws or trowels as needed, including wiring such items as engines, motors and switchboxes, and assembling engine components, water pumps, blade shafts and blade guards, front and rear axles, transmissions, cutting heads and other assemblies.
Use hand tools, and pneumatic tools to assemble components into completed saws. Includes processes such (but not limited to) as sanding, oiling, measuring, bolting, wiring, aligning, tightening, and torqueing. Ability to read blueprints and follow documented and written instructions.
Finish and touch-up completed saws and apply serial number decals. May include painting.
Quality
Perform test run on completed saws to be sure they're in proper running condition.
By use of a checklist, complete inspection paperwork and notify appropriate Supervisor of need for final inspection.
Crate or box completed saws for shipment, insert appropriate literature and tools, and prepare for pick-up.
Clean up and maintain tools and work area on a daily basis. Report need for tool repair to Supervisor.
Maintain high-quality standards on all assembled parts by making sure parts fit and go together properly, machine is in good working condition, and paint finished and touched up, if needed.
Expected to make suggestions for changing/improving procedures and specifications.
Observe sound safety procedures at all times and to notify supervisor of safety or ergonomic issues.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
At least 1-2 years' Mechanical Assembly experience
Some automotive, engine build/repair or shop experience helpful
Working knowledge of following verbal and written work instructions

As a Product Assembler at Husqvarna Construction in Olathe, KS, you perform assembly based on pre-determined work orders. You are responsible for assembling various types and sizes of cutting and sawing equipment, including concrete, tile, masonry, metal and hole saws or other equipment fabricated and assembled in Production. Includes assembly of individual parts and components.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assembly
* Receive pre-determined work order and parts from Lead Person or Supervisor.
* Check to ensure that parts received are correct and in good condition and report bad or questionable parts to appropriate Supervisor.
* Pre-assemble individual parts for assigned saws or trowels as needed, including wiring such items as engines, motors and switchboxes, and assembling engine components, water pumps, blade shafts and blade guards, front and rear axles, transmissions, cutting heads and other assemblies.
* Use hand tools, and pneumatic tools to assemble components into completed saws. Includes processes such (but not limited to) as sanding, oiling, measuring, bolting, wiring, aligning, tightening, and torqueing. Ability to read blueprints and follow documented and written instructions.
* Finish and touch-up completed saws and apply serial number decals. May include painting.
Quality
* Perform test run on completed saws to be sure they're in proper running condition.
* By use of a checklist, complete inspection paperwork and notify appropriate Supervisor of need for final inspection.
* Crate or box completed saws for shipment, insert appropriate literature and tools, and prepare for pick-up.
* Clean up and maintain tools and work area on a daily basis. Report need for tool repair to Supervisor.
* Maintain high-quality standards on all assembled parts by making sure parts fit and go together properly, machine is in good working condition, and paint finished and touched up, if needed.
* Expected to make suggestions for changing/improving procedures and specifications.
* Observe sound safety procedures at all times and to notify supervisor of safety or ergonomic issues.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
* At least 1-2 years' Mechanical Assembly experience
* Some automotive, engine build/repair or shop experience helpful
* Working knowledge of following verbal and written work instructions
* Ability to stand for long periods of time
* Must be able to hold pneumatic tools that create vibration for short durations.
* Must have mechanical aptitude, a working knowledge of hand tools, and the ability to learn a limited number of more specialized processes such as those involving electrical wiring.
* Must be detail-oriented, accurate and able to follow directions, both verbal and written.
