How You Will Make an Impact:
The Production Associate/Assembler is responsible for building and assembly of a multitude of pieces as well as completed truck bodies.

The Nuts and Bolts:
Read and interpret: orders and specifications, blueprints, instructions and labels which may contain hazardous warnings and cautions
Cut wood or metals to specific sizes using a variety of saws, sheers and cutters
Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets or fasteners
Operate pneumatic tools and hand tools
Perform set up of machine and preventative maintenance as required
Examine finished project for quality and defects
Perform safety and quality checks
Work and adhere to all safety policies
Required Credentials:
Must have at least 3 years of previous experience in manufacturing
Must be 18 years old
Basic math, tape measurement, and computer skills
Working with hand and power tools
Reading and interpreting blueprints
Construction experience is a plus
Preferred but not required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience working on truck bodies

Machine Operators are responsible for operating and tending the machines that are used to produce and shape Polar's expanded polystyrene (EPS) blocks. Responsibilities include one or more of the following, depending upon your machine assignment.
Performs general production activities to ensure efficient, consistent production of high-quality products.
Safely operates molding machines or expansion machines.
Inspects finished or in-process products against company standards and specifications for irregularities or rejects.
Ensures compliance with regard to raw materials, manufacturing processes, and housekeeping.
Troubleshoots machine or quality issues.
Maintains documentation and performs administrative tasks relevant to plant operations
Collaborates with shift supervisor to understand and develop training needs, structure and individual progress for the assigned shift.
Ensures work area is maintained in order and is free of items, carts and machinery not in use to mitigate safety hazards and maintain good housekeeping practices.
Performs other job-related duties as required and/or assigned.
