What You'll Get to Do
The Machine Operator is focused on operating various types of equipment to prepare glass for the next department and/or the end user customer. This could be operating cutting equipment, grinding/polishing, CNC and/or a tempering furnace and reports to the Production Supervisor.

Job responsibilities include:
On/off-loading of the product from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates.
Review work orders and load the proper data into the machine computer software.
Adhere to production requirements.
Adhere to the quality control plan.
Visually inspect each piece of glass to ensure there are no imperfections.
Perform work as assigned by Supervisor.
Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
Read and interpret basic mathematical measurements while effectively using a tape measure to verify correct dimensions.

Principal Duties
Patrol work area to identify defects in yarn quality through visual inspection and make corrections as necessary.

A Brief Overview

Position Summary:
Takes parts ready to be anodized to load them into racks and unload the finished parts out of the rack. Makes sure parts are held tightly to the racks to keep from falling during the transfer through different process tanks. Able to work under a little supervision of shift Supervisor to support day-to-day Anodizing Production Activities. Able to train new rackers and assist Operator to run the line.
Position Responsibilities:
* Moves parts from machine shop to anodizing area and moves finished goods to assembly.
* Rack parts to rack splines assuring a good contact and racking technique.

Principal Duties
Identify the different types, ply and denier of yarns used to supply the creel and filling yarns for manufacturing fabric.
Patrol work area to identify defects in yarn / fabric quality through visual inspection and make repairs as necessary.
Use proper weaving, creeling, set up, and splicing procedures utilizing air/wrap splicers and/or powered industrial truck and overhead crane.
Record and report production related data in Epicor.

Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with 5S procedure, rules, and regulations. Stage work area for the organization of proper materials needed during the shift.
Use proper waste handling procedures so that at the end of the shift supplies are accurately in order for the following shift.
