Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations. The Role As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, safely operating, and ensuring basic maintenance of a variety of pieces of automated and semi-automated machinery to make high quality cannabis products. The Machine Operator is also responsible for ensuring that all products meet our standards (including product formulas, visual appearance, packaging, etc.), inspecting and ensuring equipment is ready to run, adjusting equipment to run at optimal speed while ensuring safety and quality. Responsibilities Safety: Follow all department specific safety practices including the use of PPE Responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the designated work area, including supporting all 5S requirements Remain compliant with all safety training requirements Promptly report safety concerns, including near miss situations Production: Perform equipment inspections, calibrations, line centering, etc. to ensure the successful operation of equipment. Responsible for increasing operational efficiency and reducing waste through ownership, teamwork, communication, and collaboration. Work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards Follow SOP's and work instructions to complete the tasks according to company standards Work in a quick and efficient manner and strives to consistently increase productivity Responsible for regular maintenance and cleaning of all equipment. Participate in trial runs, new product development projects and training of other employees. Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time while maintaining focus. Must be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds AND must be able to do so with extreme care and caution when working with product. Work involves daily exposure to allergens (such as cannabis, tree nuts, and coconut oil). The pay range is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and/or location of the role. Must have flexibility to work overtime 2nd Shift 4:00pm - 12:30am 3rd shift 12:00am - 8:30am - Experience in cleaning, setting up, dismantling, and operating state-of-the-art tablet presses and encapsulation equipment. - Experience in one or more of the following areas: Compression, Granulation, Encapsulation, Wurster Coating, Coating, Fluid Bed Dryers, or Bead Towers. - Must have experience in Oral Solid Dosage Manufacturing. - Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). - Basic English communication skills, both reading and speaking.
