Ability to read and understand/interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and customer related documents such as instructions on job routers, prints, production records, and customer prints.
Must be able to use a caliper, micrometer, optical comparator, protractor, and other necessary inspection tools (Metric and Standard/SAE).
Must read, write, and comprehend English as a primary language.
Must be able to count, add, subtract, multiply, divide, and perform other basic math skills.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, loud sustained noise, vibration, and pressurized systems. PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.) are provided.
Physical Demands: Must be able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds unassisted, 80 pounds assisted. Must be able to operate machinery such as pallet jack, hand truck, hoist, and other common material handling equipment as needed.
