SUMMARY:

As a ProductionWorker II, you will be responsible for contributing to the fabrication and distribution processes of high-quality products. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production processes. Work will be completed in a contained work cell and will cross-train on other operations in the cell to provide support as needed.
Statement of work:
* Follow all company policies, procedures, and work instructions in the completion of daily activities with minimal input and supervision to ensure successful accomplishment of company objectives.
* Document, identify, and segregate nonconforming product.
* Perform visual and/or dimensional inspections of mid to large volumes of similar parts to ensure product conformity to specified requirements.
* Follow appropriate sampling plans per direction in Procedures, Work Instructions, Job Operations, and other requirements as outlined.
* Document inspection results, measurements, and other relevant data accurately.
* Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
* Perform assembly tasks as per specifications and drawings, adhering to quality standards
* Complete cross training initiatives across multiple work areas and processes to be able to support production needs across the entire facility.
* Maintain accurate production logs and documentation as required.
* Run the job to produce the correct quantity of product.
* Record accurate times on the router for each job performed.
* Bundle and tag all usable centers with traceability information as required in the work instruction.
* Follow work instructions for each area of the fabrication department.
* Follow all safety instructions
* Interact with other employees and departments in a professional manner in addressing product quality and related issues.
* Provide other departments with information and assistance to support them in accomplishing their objectives.
* Contribute to and participate in improvement activities within the department and the company.
* Follow procedures and work instructions as written and recommend improvements as necessary.
* Perform any other task/activity assigned by the supervisor within the scope of Company business.
* Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Sealing Devices Quality System.
What you will need to succeed:
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Associate degree is preferred.
* 1 year of experience in inspection preferred.
* ASQ Certified Mechanical Inspector preferred.

Position Overview
Racking and Unracking Parts:
Placing or hanging metal parts on racks to prepare them for various finishing processes, such as plating, anodizing, powder coat or wet paint.
Unrack parts after processing and remove masking materials after processing.
Quality Control:
Inspect parts before and after the finishing process to ensure they meet quality standards and reporting any defects or non-conformances to supervisors.
Packaging:
Package completed parts by following customer specifications, prints and guidelines to ensure proper packing of parts.
Job Monitoring:
Utilize computer system to track job progress and scan in and out of jobs.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety regulations, especially when working with chemicals, tools or other equipment.
Operate, maintain and clean manufacturing equipment and work area.
Qualifications:
This is an entry-level position; no previous experience is required. Some manufacturing or related experience is a plus but not required!
