Some Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Production Worker include (but are not limited to): Operates all assigned machinery as directed, while following safe operating procedures. Assembles, fabricates and packages all products under the direction of the Leader or Production Manager. Sorts, inspects, labels and marks products as required to ensure high quality standards. Notifies Leader or Production Manager if foam does not meet required standards. Checks assigned machinery daily for malfunctions and informs Leader or Production Manager of any problems. Maintains high speed, as needed, in order to meet daily production schedules. Removes all scrap material from assigned work area(s) when Utility Worker is not assigned. Completes all necessary records and reports as assigned. Works with a team to complete the required production schedules. Maintains clean and safe working area according to the established safety procedures. Can be assigned to other departments or locations, as production requires. Qualifications/Requirements: Prefer high school diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent experience. Ability to read, write, add and subtract.
