Aerospace Production Tech - Precision Components (Fri-Sun 6am - 6:30pm)
This job classification uses a broad range of multi-level skills and abilities in the manufacture of products as designated by the Company. Performs a variety of tasks to complete work and/or assist teammates in assigned work area. Duties and responsibilities at any given work assignment may include, but are not limited to any of the following:
Obtain correct parts, materials and tools to accomplish assigned task.
Use precise measuring instruments, gauges, tools, and related equipment.
Ability to run simple machinery such as Pedestal Grinder, Band Saw, Belt Disk Sander, and JIB Crane
Help the team become increasingly self-sufficient and participate in improving products, processes, and procedures of all types.
Perform other duties as assigned within this job classification or other work when incidental but necessary to accomplish the assignment.

Manages work in process inventories.

Tracks and monitors production and quality by recording information manually and/or on a computer.
Monitors product and process for non-conforming product and communicates inadequacies to appropriate personnel.
Escalates equipment, productivity, and quality issues as required.
Ensures Six S (Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety) and general housekeeping practices.
Maintains flexibility in work assignments and assists others as appropriate.
Regular punctuality, attendance for scheduled shifts.
Ensures Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Total Productive Manufacturing (TPM) work orders are completed on time.
