Work Schedule

Job Descriptions
Assembler
Involves performing repetitive assembly tasks to produce metal products. The primary responsibilities include:
Placing parts in the correct order, and then bolting, clipping, screwing, or cementing them together based on product specifications.
Performing tests to ensure that both electric and gas equipment models are functioning properly.
Working professionally with other members of the department and having problem-solving abilities.
Metal Finisher
Ensures that metal products have a smooth, finished surface. Remove defects such as dents and scratches from metal surfaces using various hand and power tools. The key responsibilities include:
Determining the type of grinding needed based on blueprints.
Operating tools like belt grinders, carbide burrs, and cartridge rolls to finish the product.
Using grinders to smooth out rough welds and polish corners.
Applying caulk to meet quality standards.
Moving the finished product to the packing area.
Complying with company guidelines and safety procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
Operator
Sets up and operates various machines to fabricate metal products, including cutoff saws, shears, and presses.
Reads and interprets blueprints and engineering plans to accurately lay out, cut, fit, and weld stainless steel.
Inspects sheet metal for imperfections, makes corrections, and ensures the quality of the finished product before it moves on.
Material Handler
Receive, store, and distribute products, as well as maintain accurate records of these transactions.
Quality and accuracy checks of incoming and outgoing shipments and their corresponding documents.
Responsible for transporting and loading materials, either manually or with equipment like hand trucks and skids.
Perform cycle counts, and labeling products.
Carpenter
Build items like cabinets and shelving from materials such as plywood, wood, and wallboard based on customer blueprints. The main responsibilities include:
Following blueprints to build customer orders, ensuring the correct materials are used.
Accurately measuring and cutting materials, then assembling all parts using various tools and adhesives.
Performing quality checks to ensure the final product meets customer and blueprint specifications.
Completing projects in a timely manner to ensure on-time shipment, while also staying organized and detail-oriented.
Must be able to accurately use measuring tools like tape measures and calipers.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Able to read and understand documents like blueprints, safety rules, written instructions, and procedure manuals.
Proficient in basic math and able to take precise measurements.
Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks, including frequent lifting of 10 to 50 pounds, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
Proficient in using various hand tools and other equipment common in a manufacturing environment.

Job Summary:
Performs manual and machine operation of various types of production equipment such as filling various components or containers, batching, labeling, machining, sorting, inspecting and packaging. Also includes responsibility for monitoring and assuring quality of product, making simple machine adjustments, keeping equipment in good working order, frequent cleaning of equipment and work area and counting and recording of production units and labor time.
Key Responsibilities:
* Must perform a diverse range of tasks related to operating a variety of manufacturing equipment utilized in the production of various products (i.e. opening, closing, mixing, filling, loading, inserting parts, capping products, tightening lids, sealing bags, etc.).
* Moves freely around machine to assure all working mechanisms are operating properly and reach all necessary parts in machine to make adjustments, minor repairs, set-up, changeovers, etc.
* Must be capable of standing at workstation for extended periods of time (8 hours or more) operating equipment or packaging products while closely monitoring and visually inspecting products and process.
* Associate may work in a filling or packaging area, inspecting product, filling cartons, bags, or containers with products, applying labels, stamping product identification numbers, expiration dates, making boxes and placing product into final package.
* Must be consistently able to produce error-free paperwork and check the paperwork of others.
* Required to read scales in order to weigh raw materials, final products, etc. in order to assure a consistent high-quality product.
* May use statistical process control and automated software and hardware to monitor quality.
* Must read and follow all safety and quality procedures which may include wearing protective equipment (PPE), smocks, hairnets etc., as well as read and follow all written formulation procedures, standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices.
* Must be capable of operating all material handling equipment such as hand jacks, powered jacks, etc.
