Summary:
Operates or assists with the operation of the coater line, anodizer line, or printline to meet established daily production quotas, adjusting operating parameters to obtain quality in conformance to process control requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Performs or assists with start up and shut down on machinery and equipment related to manufacturing lines in accordance with proper safety and operating instructions.
Operates or assists with operating lines while measuring, recording, and adjusting operating conditions to meet process control requirements.
Performs or assists with in-process checks and tests on materials related to the production process.
Troubleshoots or assists with troubleshooting, to correct issues, and reports nonconforming conditions.
Prepares or assists with the preparation of mixes and replenishes adhesives, coatings, and other chemicals as needed.
Performs or assists with changeovers and set-ups.
Operates rewind equipment to rewind and/or inspect foil.
Performs or assists with routine operator-level, preventative maintenance daily.
Prepares or assists with the preparation and maintenance of accurate paperwork and records necessary to document production processes.
Reports accurate and timely product information as required.
Cleans and prepares gravure rolls and other rolls as needed for production.
Organizes, cleans, and maintains tools, equipment, products, and supplies daily in accordance with established company procedures
Contributes suggestions for improvements to company equipment, processes, and/or products.
Works in a safe manner following all departmental and plant safety rules. Reports any unsafe work conditions to the Safety Manager, supervisor, or management.
