Key Responsibilities

What You Will Be Doing:
We are looking for a Production Technician to assemble mechanical and electrical assemblies on our in-house production lines. You will build hardware that powers Helion's prototype and production fusion machines. You will have a direct impact on Helion's ability to build fusion machines and deliver clean energy to the world. As a Production Technician, you will report directly to one of our Production Supervisors at our Everett, WA location.
You Will:
* Assemble critical mechanical and electrical assemblies per engineering work instructions

The Role:
Duties will include, but aren't necessarily limited to the following:
Holistically responsible for supporting all production activities to ensure perfectly finished packaged beer
Operating the packaging line packaging bottles and cans
Keg washing and filling
Troubleshooting mechanical challenges
Focusing on raw material handling, wort production, cellar movement, dry hopping, yeast harvesting, beer finishing, and SIP/CIP of hot and cold side equipment
Conducting quality checks and ensuring standards are met, troubleshooting when necessary
Prepping tanks for packaging or kegging
Moving supplies and staging materials throughout the day
Maintaining a high level of cleanliness throughout the brewery
Accurately recording data
Help with training peers on tasks when necessary

What you will do: As a Production Operator - Assembler you will build a variety of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies and components for use in the aerospace industry. You will work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment which includes injection molding, masking, painting, touch-up work and inspection. The Assembly Operator II starts by learning our masking and prep processes and, from there, they can develop skills by cross-training into any of the other work center positions such as Mold Setup, Packaging, Inspection or Painter. You may exercise independent action and initiative, and may also provide support, and follow direction from Supervisor/Manager, Team Lead, Engineering Aides and Inspection personnel. This position will have direct contact with, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Test Engineering, Calibration, and Supervision.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Build assemblies as directed by supervisor or team lead in conformance to drawing and quality standards while adhering to documented production time standards if applicable.
* Adhere to lot traceability and general inventory practices.
* Works from Engineering or Quality drawings, specifications, standards, test procedures, and verbal instructions to determine product or procedure acceptance.
* Will be responsible for validating that build and inspection equipment is calibrated and/or qualified as Fit-for-Use.
* Understanding of lot traceability and general inventory practices.
* Will be responsible to perform self-audits of workstation or as directed to ensure compliance to system and specification requirements.
* Takes initiative to define and recommend improvement opportunities
* Recognize deviations from standard drawings/practices
* Assembly requirements may include: soldering, crimping, wire harnessing, basic testing, visual inspection
* May perform inspection of complex assemblies and systems for conformance to drawing and quality standards.
* May perform basic troubleshooting of complex assemblies, assembly tools, tooling, and test equipment associated with production product, upgrades, & reworks.
* May perform visual, dimensional, electrical, functional, and optical inspections per specified documentation.
* May be assigned tasks by supervisor/manager such as Fit-for-Use, Shelf Life and Calibration.
* Performs special projects/tasks as assigned
Preferred Education:
* High school diploma or equivalent. Technical degree a plus.
Preferred Experience:
* 0-2 years' experience working in electronics production and assembly.
Physical Requirements
* Frequent use of personal computers, database and digital platforms, and other office productivity machinery, such as copy machines and computer printers.
* Frequently uses hands, fingers, and arms to reach, handle, touch or feel equipment, materials, and computer.
* The person in this position needs to frequently move inside the office
* Frequent close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
* Occasionally use of steps, or ladder.
* Sit, stand and walk for 1 - 10 hours per day.

Work Environment production roles
* This position is for Day Shift (6:00am-2:30pm), Monday through Friday.
* The ambient noise level is low on day Shift, but hearing protection is provided, upon request.

Salary Range

Experience with multiple pieces of equipment in the packaging, food, or beverage industry strongly preferred, but will consider technical aptitude in lieu of experience.
Experience with mixing using established recipes is preferred, but will train the right applicant.
Knowledge of scales and adjusting recipes based on production needs is preferred, but not required.
Employees must have WA state identification on their person available for inspection at all times by compliance entities
