If loading pan washer, worker performs duties in an enclosed room that is both warm and humid. If working in the Packaging Room, temperature is maintained from 50º - 55º. If performing cleaning duties by the ovens, the workspace is warm and humid. Moisture: Some contact with liquids if washing floor, toilets, sinks, utensils, and worktables. Chemicals: OSHA approved soaps, degreasers, sanitizers and cleaners. Noise / Vibration: Moderate noise level in production bakery due to stacking of pans, operation of ovens and conveyor lines. Ear production is worn if working in the pan washing room due to noise level of the pan washer. Odors: Odors are generally pleasant from bakery products. Hazards: Burns from hot ovens, burns from 180º water hose, slip/falls on wet or greasy flooring, falls from ladder work, and potential for hitting head when working under stationary equipment.
