Proven ability through certification to operate various Packaging and Processing equipment according to set standards; set up, run and adjust machines; conduct timely quality checks; perform minor machine maintenance; accurately complete paperwork; and perform sanitation and changeover of equipment. Solid knowledge of machine capabilities, manufacturing process, and ability to troubleshoot. Demonstrated ability to consistently meet quality, safety and efficiency goals. About the role
POSITION SUMMARY Ensures efficient and continual plant vinegar production. Continually monitors
production efficiency by taking production samples, making nutrient batches, and taking physical
inventories. Works alone in the plant during assigned shift and is continually checking production statuswhile ensuring other sections of the plant are running smoothly
Key responsibilities
* Monitors the levels of approximately 50 tanks. Knows the vinegar flow in and out of tanks.
* Monitors the production by taking and checking physical samples and making adjustments to ensure the production remains efficient.
* Monitors three filtration units; back flushing, starting and stopping them as needed.
* Monitors nutrient levels in tanks, mixes batches as needed and adds them to tanks.
* Monitors several pumping operations at the same time, aware of all pumping destinations and stops operations if necessary.
* Monitors and checks the progress of the R/O units.
* Foam tanks watched and pumped out as needed.
* Watches and adjusts the production computer.
* Calculates when the production units will be unused so they can be pumped.
* Works with plant freezers by pumping, filling, defrosting units and preparing them for restart.
* Moves prepared mash volumes to designated feed tanks.
* Must be familiar with SAP, making and closing entries.
* Communicates well with the Production Supervisor and others.
* Understand and communicate the Shift Change over.
* Clean up based on the MSS, and other directions.
