The technician, with minimal supervision, must be able to produce results and has primary responsibility for their assigned plants. Production Technicians must employ safety focused actions, demonstrate initiative and self-motivation. The technician is supported through managerial supervision, lead/area technicians, engineers, sales, and other technical support. The role will facilitate the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment to include but not limited to cryogenic liquid and gas storage vessels, vaporization systems, cylinders, gas purifiers, gas analyzers and sampling cabinets, filtration systems, pipelines, valves of all varieties, pumps, compressors, and instrumentation/control systems. This position requires a combination of office work and field work. Employee must be able to access elevated electrical and mechanical equipment via ladders, scaffolding, and aerial work platforms. Working extended hours and/or weekends, holidays and call-ins may be required based on facility activities. Technician also have on-call duties (on a rotating basis). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are paramount to be successful. Attention to detail is a must!
