SUMMARY
The Post Stacker is responsible for all activities associated with running the folder gluer including setup, operation, cleanup, and recommending improvements to operations.
JOB FUNCTION/PURPOSE
• Assists Operator with set up of all folding and gluing operations of the machine in accordance with the proper setup techniques.
• Assists with achieving 5-10 minute set up time for straight line after proper training.
• Assists with achieving 19,000 pieces per hour on a consistent basis
• Minimizes waste of sheet stock and glue.
• Assists Operator to properly operate the machine to run efficiently and produce quality products.
• Ensures diagonal and corrugator scores are broken when necessary.
• Cross trains in all post job positions.
• Utilizes the "Employee Development Form"
• Runs a variety of box styles and sizes such as, auto bottoms, four corner trays, and straight-line glue
• Maximizes the utilization of equipment by operating the machinery at available capacity and speed.
• Checks quality of boxes during the run, including mis-slotted boxes, loose liner, misprints, and any other defects.
• Assists to complete necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to Production Data, Machine Operational Status, Safety Data and Quality Data.
• Makes recommendations for custom tools to help speed up the set up. Example: two knuckles with custom tool versus making folds with various knuckles
• Assists with turning in maintenance work orders to Supervisor for needed repairs.
• Performs Preventative Maintenance
• Adheres to production schedule.
• Reports any unusual schedule to Supervisor.
• Cleans machine on a regular basis.
• Ensures the compliance of safety guidelines.
• Wears the proper safety equipment for the environment including safety glasses and steel toe shoes.
• Performs other related duties as needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Access the batching system to view batch lists and identify priority jobs to be completed
Review job tickets and plan work processes to meet customer specifications for custom jobs
Ensure machines are ready and set specifications to run products as required
Quality control of completed jobs, providing updates on job status and schedule to the supervisor
Make adjustments as needed to maintain specifications and timely flow of materials
Monitor assigned machine during run to ensure machines are maintaining the proper requirements
Unload machine and stack materials on pallets

Troubleshoot machine problems, resolve if possible, notifying Floor Supervisor

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Access the batching system to view batch lists and identify priority jobs to be completed
Review job tickets and plan work processes to meet customer specifications for custom jobs
Ensure machines are ready and set specifications to run products as required
Quality control of completed jobs, providing updates on job status and schedule to the supervisor
Make adjustments as needed to maintain specifications and timely flow of materials
Monitor assigned machine during run to ensure machines are maintaining the proper requirements
Unload machine and stack materials on pallets
Ensure jobs are meeting quality and quantity requirements
Troubleshoot machine problems, resolve if possible, notifying Floor Supervisor
Maintain proper machine maintenance and lubrication
Remove waste items for recycling
Report all injuries, illnesses, and near misses to management immediately
Adhere to all safety rules and regulations as set forth by 4over
Complete and maintain required records and paperwork, as needed
Perform regular housekeeping duties in assigned and surrounding areas
Attend all department/company meetings, as needed
Wear all assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required
Perform other assigned duties

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCES:
High School Diploma or GED equivalency; or six-months to one-year related experience in a manufacturing environment and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred

Attention to Detail: Precision in monitoring print jobs to ensure all details, such as color accuracy, image sharpness, and print placement, meet the required standards. Detecting small defects or inconsistencies during production and taking corrective action immediately.
Communication Skills: Ability to read and understand corporate policies, job-related documents, and written/verbal instructions in English to ensure effective and compliant job performance.
Strong foundational math skills, with the ability to perform basic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Highly detail-oriented, organized, and efficient in managing time, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and complete tasks accurately.

We are seeking a motivated individual to perform a variety of tasks under the direction of the Production Supervisor in any number of areas in the operation including receiving, freezer, sanitation, deboning (by machine), and storage; by performing the following tasks:
•In the absence of Production Supervisor, coordinate and supervise plant production by organizing and assigning work, instructing, guiding, and assisting employees in the attainment of production and quality goals
•Responsible for accurate preparation of all documentation related to production, shipping & receiving, safety and sanitation
•Lead in the training and development of employees by managing performance and creating an environment in which they have the opportunity to succeed
•Perform routine tasks involved in producing, assembling, inspecting, testing or shipping a product
•Load raw material into machinery that may grind, emulsify, mechanically debone, mix/blend and/or plate freeze product
•Inspect product to ensure that it conforms to established quality control guidelines
•Discard incidental waste, that cannot be processed, into bins or other containers for proper disposal
•Operate process hose to pump product into plate freezer; hand pack; and insert dividers (when required) to separate product during processing
•Pull blocks of frozen product from plate freezers by hand and physically slide product along rail and hand stack onto pallets
•Perform sanitation of machines and floors using high pressure hose and other tools to ensure that our equipment and facility is kept clean and hygienic
•Wrap, weigh, mark and label processed items according to standard protocol
•Store finished product in freezer according to storage guidelines
•Operate forklift or pallet jack to move or retrieve supplies for production line or for storage (if trained and certified to operate forklifts and pallet jacks)
