Primary responsibilities for Manufacturing Machine Operators include:
Maintain equipment in excellent working condition

Job Summary:
Blue Oval Battery Park Michigan is seeking highly motivated and detailed oriented Production Operator Quality personnel to join our cutting-edge battery cell manufacturing facility in Marshall, MI. This critical role is responsible for ensuring that manufactured products meets established quality standards and specifications, maintaining the integrity of our products throughout the production process. This Operator will perform comprehensive inspections and tests, document results, Identify and address defects, and contribute to the continuous improvement of quality control procedures, including visuals inspections at key points, final product quality, outgoing shipments, and in line quality gates.
Responsibilities:
• Quality Assurance and Inspection: Implement and promote a strong quality culture within the Plant. Job DescriptionExtrusion Machine Operator We are seeking an Extrusion Machine Operator to operate and maintain extrusion equipment to produce plastic products according to quality and production standards. This role is responsible for machine setup, monitoring production output, performing quality checks, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
What You'll Be Doing
As an Extrusion Machine Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion machinery to ensure products meet required specifications.
Adjustments: Modify settings such as temperature, speed, and pressure to optimize production.
Quality Verification: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet dimensional, visual, and performance standards.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve minor mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
Maintenance: Perform routine upkeep on machinery to ensure optimal operation.
Material Handling: Load raw materials and manage finished product output.
Documentation: Record production data, including machine settings and quality checks.
Safety & Organization: Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
Team Support: Communicate effectively to help meet production targets and deadlines.
What We're Looking ForQualifications:
1-3 years of experience in manufacturing or extrusion machine operation, preferably plastics or polymer processing.
Knowledge of extrusion machinery and manufacturing processes.
Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor mechanical repairs.
Ability to read and understand technical specifications and production orders.
Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
Ability to work independently and maintain performance in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 70 lbs.
Preferred Skills:
High School Diploma or GED.
Experience with automated or PLC-controlled extrusion systems.
Familiarity with QC processes in extrusion production.
Experience with PVC, polypropylene, or polyethylene materials.
Forklift or material handling experience.
