Assembly Line Worker Duties:
Complete assembly of automotive seating units while maintaining good housekeeping, safety, quality and efficiency standards.
Performs line assembly and/or support operations to mass produce automotive seating units in accordance with specifications.
Builds parts in a specified manner according to the Operator Description Sheets
Develop proficiency in all production job functions and rotate in job cell into various workstations
Control processing, delivery or installation of nonconforming product until deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected
Restock work areas as needed to ensure proper workflow
Monitor production material quantities and report shortages
Ability to lift and/or carry seating components frequently (Lift assist devices are provided).
Complete, assembly of quality seating units
Walk, stand, reach, lift, bend, pull, push to move product through build process
Use of hand-held pneumatic tools, torque guns, ergonomic arms and other equipment to perform operations on the assembly line
Bolts, clips, screws, or otherwise fastens parts together
Operation of assembly fixtures
Problem solving of workplace issues
Quality inspections of work in progress
Work as part of a team to ensure on-time quality product to our customers (internal and external)
Incorporate safe working procedures into all daily activities in and around facility
Understand and follow written and verbal instructions
Comply with company rules, policies, and practices
Attends and participates in regular plant and group meetings and activities, to include regular exercise/stretching
Any and all other tasks as assigned by any member of management
Authority and responsibility to stop the production line should a safety or quality issue appear
Assembly Line Worker Skill & Education Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED
Must successfully pass an assessment required by company standards
Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
Must possess a valid driver's license
Meet physical demands of the job
Ability to work in fast paced environment

Job Summary:
Perform a variety of tasks surrounding the set-up and operation of a machine that applies a dust jacket to the outside of a book. The position also directs the workers on this machine.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Read job tickets and follow instructions.
Set up and operate the jacket and carton machine according to job specifications, along with all safety, quality, productivity, and other bindery processes.
Supervise the crew for safety, quality and machine productivity.
Perform preventative maintenance measures as assigned.
Perform General Worker duties when not assigned to operate a machine.
Safety- Complies with OSHA regulations and company safety policies. Monitors machine for hazards and reports any safety related concerns.
Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate effectively to all work groups.
Ability to read, do basic math and work with basic tools (screw drivers, wrenches, etc).
Basic computer skills to work with Windows type applications.
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to do basic trouble shooting when the equipment is not functioning.
High School diploma or GED.

Assembly Line Worker Duties:

Develop proficiency in all production job functions and rotate in job cell into various workstations
