Main Duties and Responsibilities: · In accordance with instructions on Manufacturing Plan, will clean parts, perform part marking and packaging, deburr and/or grind parts using file, grinding wheel, tumbler and deburring cloth. · Must be able to get along well with others. · Must be able to work scheduled shift and meet company attendance requirements; must be flexible enough to stay late or modify work hours on short notice, if production deadlines require it. · Must be able to perform the job safely; must comply with company safety rules and procedures. Must follow the lean philosophy and practice the 6 S's on a daily basis Additional Duties, as assigned. Typical qualifications would be: · Have good basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals). Ability to input data into a computer terminal. Have neat penmanship for completing Manufacturing Plans, etc. High school diploma or GED preferred; prefer one to three months experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to be detail oriented and able to multi-task several functions. Ability to organize work to optimize efficiency. Additional Requirements: Ability to perform shop math calculations and follow instructions on manufacturing plans. Manual dexterity to perform job functions within established time frame.
