1. Execute service and maintenance of production and prototype equipment supporting test activities. Including but not limited to combines, headers, tractors and implements.
- Repair equipment failures as needed to keep test engineers operational.
- Configure vehicles for testing.
- Service equipment as needed to maintain the test fleet.
- Order parts through necessary channels.
- Wash and clean crop material from vehicles.
2. Maintain the shop facility to ensure a clean work environment and reliable equipment.
- Clean areas not addressed by general cleaning crew.
- Restock consumables.
3. Manage incoming and outgoing freight shipments.
- Unload/load equipment including combines, headers, tractors, and implements being shipped to dealers, customers, and test sites.
- Ensure BOLs are signed and communicated.
4. Manage and organize part storage areas.
- Scrap identified parts by engineering.
- Mark and store parts as appropriate.
5. Assist test engineers on lab and test rigs
- Build test rigs.
- Provide support to test engineers as needed for part swaps and test monitoring.
- Clean labs and organize/service equipment.
6. Setup/stock/organize service truck fleet.
- Clean and restock vehicles returning from the field.
- Setup new trucks with tools and equipment.
- Install accessories as needed.

Student - Theatre and Dance Production Technician

Student employees will support the Theater & Dance department's productions, specifically in the areas of technical production, as required by a specific production's needs. This position will be specialized toward the technology components of the theatrical process (lighting, sound, video, etc.), but will also have crossover with the scenic and carpentry responsibilities as needed. This position will also support the technology needs for campus events taking place in the Kaleidoscope (lectures, dinners, ceremonies, etc.)
Work is done in the Kaleidoscope's scene shop, Lenfest Theater, and Blackbox Studio Theater, under the direct supervision of the Theater & Dance department's Technical Director & Production Manager and Performing Arts Technician. Schedule may vary weekly. Some evening and weekend hours will likely be required during a production's load in period and tech weekend, and during campus events taking place in the building.
Typical work week may average between 12 and 20 hours.
Responsibilities:
Learn and practice a variety of skills (depending on the needs of the production) primarily including hanging and focusing lights, setting up microphones and speakers, and (as needed for the production), scenic carpentry, metalworking, scenic painting, and theatrical rigging.
Support the technology needs for campus events taking place in the Kaleidoscope (lectures, dinners, ceremonies, etc.)
Train on the theaters fly-system and operation along with other specified theatrical equipment.
Help with the set-up of both theater spaces for rehearsal and technical rehearsals.
Assist in scheduled maintenance and organization of shop and theater gear and equipment.

Current full-time student at Ursinus College
Must learn shop and theater safety requirements and adhere to those protocols during work calls.

This position will require the Production Technician to be highly functional in multiple disciplines and help support the fabrication team to deliver a finished product to TAIT's standards of quality. Essential Responsibilities

Operate, monitor and troubleshoot equipment used during daily manufacturing
Perform changeovers and disassemble, assemble, and clean machinery
Understand and execute daily production run schedules, resolve quality issues, and report any unresolved issues immediately
Stage packaging area, manually lift and load 55lbs or more of material into equipment, bag/box finished product and prepare for shipment and distribution
Operate forklift to transport raw materials and finished product to designated areas
Operate hand tools to effectively degate or deflash materials
Empty trash and waste into compactor or dumpster
Raw material management including organizing, handling, weighing and measuring
Follows standard operating and LOTO procedures for all assigned tasks
Performs all standard QC tests and accurately record production data
Performs equipment maintenance tasks (PM'S, troubleshoot, repair, etc.), where applicable.
Maintain a clean work environment and all tools and equipment are in the proper location and storage units
Requirements:
Min. Qualifications
Minimum 6 months previous experience in production or manufacturing position; mechanically inclined preferred
Availability to work overtime or weekends on short notice as needed
Must possess a High School Diploma or G.E.D. at time of application
Must submit to pre-employment screening including: employment history verification, background check, physical and hair follicle drug screening.
Must be able to read and interpret documents, write routine correspondence, and speak the English language to effectively communicate with supervisors and other team members
Basic mathematics and computer skills; SAP experience preferred
Properly follow written and verbal operating and LOTO procedures
Ability to work proactively and support other personnel and departments.
Ability to multitask and work both independently as well as contribute to teamwork
Maintain excellent attendance habits

Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and work at heights of 300ft or more and work in confined spaces

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled manufacturing worker to join our team at our plant in Myerstown, PA. The Material Handler is a key contributor to the Production department, and is responsible for assisting the production team in various tasks throughout the production line.
Schedule:
Rotating 12-hour shifts
6:45 am - 6:45 pm & 6:45 pm - 6:45 am
Essential Duties
* Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Support production team as needed to clear jams, monitor equipment, empty waste hoppers, disposition product, perform housekeeping and fill-in for machine operator vacancies.
* Work safely and assume responsibility for safety of self and others. Follow all safety rules and policies.
* Maintaining excellent housekeeping.
* Participate in equipment maintenance activities.
* Participate in all machine shut-down and lace-up activities to support excellent machine uptime.

Ability to Learn Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Understands how to read assembly drawings and manufacture the parts accordingly.
