About the facility: The Williamson, NY operation is a roughly 1 million sq ft production facility with 217 acres of land. The site is the Home of the Brand Motts that has been delighting our consumers for more than 140 yrs. Production Technician III - Williamson, NYThe ProductionTechnician is responsible for the complete operation and changeover of assigned machines within PhD and all other associated work. This includes safely maintaining, repairing, replacing and assisting in modifying all processing, packaging, and facility equipment in accordance with on-line quality and Best Practice procedures.

Guillotine operator: ensure bars are the appropriate height, width and weight by making any necessary adjustments to the slitters, belts, and guillotine as well as check weights and perform quality checks on bars coming through.
Slab line operator: monitor the slab of product to ensure that it is the correct width, height and weight. Adjust the compression rollers to adjust the height of the bars and take sample bars to ensure weights are within product specifications

Candidate must safely and efficiently operate a cherry picker machine in order to safely move/ relocate materials within the warehouse. The employee is responsible for picking our replenishment stock for our several other store locations. Also putting away stock that has been received into the warehouse.

* Perform duties on complex prototypes or first-time builds.
* Compliantly troubleshoots tools, fixtures, and equipment as necessary
* Ensure speeds, feeds, and tooling is correct for material being processed.
* Perform job responsibilities according to internal process specifications and third-party requirements
* Frequent interaction with internal and/or external customers and support functions (i.e. - Planners, Engineering) outside of home department.
* Report problems to appropriate resource and/or Coach.

The Production Technician I is responsible for operating and monitoring production machinery to maximize production and maintain KDPs high standards in safety and quality.
