Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Identify fabrication requirements written on each piece of pipe (5%) * Place pipe in machine, center the pipe, and tighten for work. After the pipe is in place, the operator will machine tapered threads into the pipe. During this process, the machine operator is responsible for verifying measurements, such as thread depth and correct taper (30%) * After the threads are cut the operator tests the flange to make sure it screws onto the pipe properly. Job DescriptionDescription: The Night Production position is proficient at three positions on a line, able to perform all the functions of those positions in an accurate and efficient manner. The individual at this level should be capable of performing all of the following functions; Bagger, Mixer, and Floor Operations. Complies with all safety regulations, work rules, SOP's and company policies. Ensures that line meets all BRC, GMP and safety standards. This position works 6:00 pm to 6:00 am on a variable schedule 3 days one week and 4 days the next week. Major Accountabilities Competent operation of equipment and execution of all aspects of Mixing, Bagging, and Floor Operations Responsible for completing all paperwork in an accurate manner. Responsible for following all written instructions and formulas. Responsible for complying with all safety regulations, food safety procedures including all BRC and GMP requirements and specifications, and use of the appropriate PPE. Generalized Tasks Clean and sterilize vats and factory processing areas. Follow recipes to produce food products of specified flavor, texture, clarity, bouquet, or color. Inspect equipment after cleaning to ensure that product residue has been removed. Observe and listen to equipment to detect possible malfunctions, such as leaks or plugging, and report malfunctions supervisors. Place products on carts or conveyors to transfer them to the next stage of processing. Record production and test data for each food product batch, such as the ingredients used, temperature, test results, and time cycle. Set up, operate, and tend equipment that mixes, blends, or processes ingredients in the manufacturing of food products, according to formulas or recipes. Perform safety inspections in manufacturing or industrial setting. Requirements: Experience: Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse or related environment preferred. Education: High School Diploma or the equivalent Must be able to perform job functions. Requires the use of: telephones, paging system, PC, timekeeping, copying and other office machines and equipment. Physical Demands Ability to lift 50 Lbs. repetitively throughout the day. Must possess the physical abilities to meet standards of a Level 3 Medium Work Job as defined by the U. S. Department of Labor. Must be able to ascend and descend steps.
