Fabricating/cutting glass

Key Responsibilities
Operate machinery to produce panels of various sizes and specifications
Feed 3/4" particle board through a glue-applicating machine
Adhere steel sheets (28 or 26 gauge) to both sides of the particle board
Stack completed panels (10-20 per stack)
Load stacks into a hydraulic/air press to bond materials securely
Remove stacks from press and clean edges of any residual adhesive
Move completed stacks to designated storage locations
Maintain a strong focus on safety while working around large industrial equipment
Follow precise quality standards to meet government facility requirements
Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure efficient workflow
Requirements
Ability to work 10-hour shifts Monday-Thursday, 9 hours on Friday, and occasional Saturday shifts (6 hours)
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow exact specifications
Must be safety-conscious and able to work around large, potentially hazardous machinery
Glue applicator includes heavy rollers
Hydraulically powered material stands

Must wear steel-toed boots or shoes at all times

Forklift experience is a plus; onsite forklift evaluation and temporary certification can be provided

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Run production on CNC machining center
* Check, and monitor the parts that are being run
* Capability to read the basic dimensions and tolerances of a blue print
* Ensure quality standards are being met
* Responsible to produce the proper amount of parts per machine cycle time
* Deburr and blend all parts that are machined
* Perform daily maintenance on machines including: maintaining fluid levels, emptying chips, wiping down machine to remove coolant, dust and debris
