WELDING OPERATORS Robotic Welding Machine Operation: Operate robotic welding systems to perform welding tasks, such as MIG (Metal Inert Gas), spot welding, or laser welding, on automotive parts and components. Monitor robotic welding processes to ensure consistent quality and adherence to standards. Quality Assurance: Inspect welded joints and components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Identify and correct defects, such as cracks, porosity, or incomplete fusion, in welded parts. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to address and resolve any welding-related quality issues. Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment. Perform basic housekeeping to keep area clean and safe. Use personal protective equipment (PPE), such as welding helmets, gloves, and flame-resistant clothing. Report any safety hazards or incidents to the Line Leader or Supervisor. Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues with robotic welding equipment. Report major equipment malfunctions or breakdowns to the maintenance team or Supervisor. Material Preparation: Ensure proper alignment and fit-up of parts before welding. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth production flow.
