Fill the appropriate bags to the assigned weight.
Place filled bags, by hand and/or machine, in proper configuration on pallets.
Shrink wrap pallets, when required.

Work under close supervision and/or standard operating procedures, including strict safety rules and quality specifications.
Make recommendations to supervisory personnel.

Incumbent acquires the knowledge and skills of various phases of packing through on-the-job training and instruction by the district or other experienced Animal Packers. Physical Effort: Positions involve walking, bending, riding horses for long hours in high altitudes. Selectees will be required to lift, carry and secure awkward loads (often heavy up to 100 lbs) onto the sides of animals at or above chest height, and use arms to hold packs in position while hitching ropes. Selectees must be able to adjust these loads along the trail in steep, rocky, or other poor footing situations with little room to maneuver. While preparing loads, selectees are constantly required to bend, squat, twist, lift and fasten down loads. Positions require good physical stamina and strength in arms, back and legs to perform tasks safely and efficiently.
Working Conditions: The incumbents work outdoors in all weather extremes and must be able to sustain themselves in these conditions. The incumbents will be exposed to the possibility of broken bones, cuts, bruises, strained and wrenched muscles, burns from ropes, insect bites, and the danger of animals striking, kicking, or crushing.

* Loads and unloads materials onto or from trucks, pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand, forklift, hand truck and/or electric pallet jack, as appropriate.
* Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
* Loads materials into vehicles to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
* Conveys materials from storage sites to designated loading area.
* Counts and records number of units of materials moved or handled, breakage and spoilage on appropriate sheets.
* Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases and other containers.

Comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies

Key Accountabilities:
* Operate the panel bender to meet daily production schedules and output goals
* Ensure all finished products meet EMIT's quality and dimensional standards
* Organize and label completed manufacturing orders (MOs), transferring finished work to pallets
* Accurately maintain job status in OSEON to support production flow and traceability
* Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area
Qualifications:
* Previous experience operating press brakes, panel benders, or similar forming equipment preferred
* Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
* Reliable, safety-minded, and eager to learn new manufacturing technologies

The Production Technician will be an on-site specialist applying AKJs industry-leading coal treatment products.
Possess or able to obtain a current MSHA Certificate of Training.
This position will require employees to work on designated mine sites and handle all aspects of safe product application.
