Requirements Knowledge of machining materials and processes generally gained through a 2-year technical degree or certificate in Machine Technology, or a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a machine shop environment, including working with tooling and accessories, setting up jobs, and running CNC machines. Ability to interact professionally and tactfully with internal and external customers, as well as vendors. Ability to educate customers and offer additional tooling solutions and alternatives.
