Position Summary Under direction of the Director Customer Service, provide management of contractual TSCA clients and transactional customers. He/she must coordinate the efforts of Field Services, Depot, Parts, and Technical Services teams through the development and execution of a strategic plan that advances the company's mission and objectives as well as promotes revenue, profitability, and orders growth as an organization. Reports To: Director Customer Service Work Location: 6401 North Eldridge Pkwy, Houston, TX 77041 Position Responsibilities Provide direct leadership to Aero Advantage teams, including assisting, coaching and mentoring employees to achieve a high level of performance. Own all aspects of Aero Advantage projects, including execution, customer satisfaction, productivity and technical support. Participate in turnover meetings with the sales team, developing a plan to successfully implement the scope of the project as committed to the customer. Review and implement all aspects of the project contract. Be the primary customer interface from turnover to end of warranty. Support Sales and Commercial Teams in proposal development. Act as the point of escalation for complex problems, both of a technical and non-technical nature, assisting in the assessment of root cause and the resolution of problems. Take the lead on productivity, monitoring work performance and efficiency of employees and subcontractors to ensure schedules are followed and projects are executed effectively and within budget. Manage the material flow and crew schedules across multiple projects to optimize efficiency and costs. Actively participate in internal Project Reviews. Reviews typically cover compliance with design requirements, schedules, and budgets with particular attention to the cost relating to PES performed work. Ensure PES EH&S program is adhered to across all jobs ensuring corrective actions for any deficiencies are taken immediately. Stay abreast of, and provide proactive solutions for potential problems, work interference, schedule difficulties, employee issues and/or client issues. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering or business administration or equivalent education and experience. LM2500/LM6000/Aeroderivative Technical Advisor experience or previous CSM experience in Power Generation. 5+ years' experience in management of construction and/or field service segments. The individual in this role will be responsible for the safe remote operation of multiple combustion turbine generators and associated balance of plant equipment. This involves starting/stopping engines, emissions control, voltage adjustments, power augmentation adjustment, load changes, starting/stopping of BOP systems, alarm management, trouble shooting, etc. Proper logbook entries and data entry are required. These units may be across multiple sites, in multiple counties or states, with multiple owners. This is both a classical control room in some ways, and a completely new style of control center in others. This is a fast paced ever changing environment. Reports to: ROC Superintendent Work Location: 6246 McHard Road, Houston, TX 77053 Position Responsibilities Monitor plant operations to assure that all power generation units and support equipment are operated within their design basis and in compliance with environmental limitations. Investigate conditions potentially detrimental to unit operations. Initiate immediate corrective actions as required. Control the loading of power generating units as directed in response to dispatch requirements. Observes control panel instruments and readings (via remote HMI) to note and report abnormal operating conditions indicating possible system or station trouble. Determine nature and cause of trouble from evidence available, and takes corrective action to maintain safe and optimum operating conditions. Gather and report unit daily availability, in regard to derates and outage information. Monitor physical security of sites via camera systems and report any suspicious activity to proper authorities. Attain and maintain NERC or other regional certifications. Maintain voltage schedule and monitor unit output to ensure operation within the generator capability curve. Log all pertinent operational information in electronic logbook. Perform proper turnover and transfer of operational control of units as required. Start and stop CTG units in accordance with dispatch instructions. Coordinate with on-site crews and company subject matter experts to assist in troubleshooting unit issues. Comply with all remote operation center procedures. Assist in developing, reviewing, and revising department procedures. Compile data, analyze trends, and help with troubleshooting as required. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Able to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical one-lines, logic drawings, technical manuals, I/O lists, etc. This position requires an employee background check according to NERC guidelines, normal background check, and a pre-employment drug screen. Applicants must be able to pass the NERC certification test within 6 months of hire. This position is staffed around the clock by personnel working a 12-hour rotating shift schedule. Half your shifts worked will be days, the others will be nights. US work authorization is a precondition of employment. Ensure adherence to all safety, environmental, and quality control policies and procedures. Precision pipe fitting and welding primarily on Small-Bore Stainless-Steel Piping Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED, or equivalent relevant experience. Minimum of 3-5 years of pipe welding and fitting experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Journeyman-level pipefitting or welding certification (or equivalent training and experience). Familiarity with ASME welding procedures and B31 piping codes. US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa. Candidate must also pass a State and Federal criminal history/security background check and pre-employment drug screen. Desired Qualifications Proven ability to troubleshoot piping system and equipment issues. Experience reading and interpreting P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and isometric piping drawings. Working knowledge of ASME, AWS, and other relevant welding and piping codes. Familiarity with manufacturing processes, process controls, and plant utilities. Proficiency in using welding and pipefitting tools, measuring instruments, and related equipment. Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various environmental conditions. Strong commitment to safety practices and use of PPE (hard hat, steel-toe boots, safety glasses, respirators, hearing protection). Essential Job Functions Ability to walk manufacturing and construction sites, climb ladders and stairs, and work on uneven surfaces. Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and work in a variety of positions (standing, kneeling, overhead). Daily use of welding equipment, forklifts, hand tools, and computers for job documentation and communication.
