Your Key Responsibilities * Perform water/wastewater engineering design which may include engineering drawings, calculations, reports, design criteria, to support engineering projects such as water and sewer pipelines, pump stations, tunnels, and water and wastewater treatment systems. * Perform calculations to analyze and design water/wastewater system components. * Assist in the evaluation and selection of water/wastewater systems and materials and the development of water/wastewater specifications. * Contribute to the development of water/wastewater systems, through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual formats. * Assist in the preparation of engineering project documents, client presentations, client contact and communication pertaining to specific project deliverables. * Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure compatibility with the design intent. * Prepare water/wastewater engineering documents by developing construction specifications, plans and schedules. * Assist in the review of shop drawings and submittals, responds to request for information, prepares site observation reports, and performs other contract administration tasks. * Recognize when technical problems are developing and initiates appropriate corrective actions. * Attends and assists in client, contractor, stakeholder, and regulatory agency meetings to gain a better understanding of client's goals, site assessments, and vendor/equipment supplier contacts and coordination. * Participate in basic cost estimating under the direction of technical leaders to support engineering projects. * Perform other duties as assigned by senior engineering staff. * All other duties as required and assigned. Education and Experience * Education: Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Engineering. * Experience: Minimum of 8 years of related experience. * Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license required or ability to successfully obtain within twelve (12) months.
