Paul Davis Restoration is a franchise organization that provides services to cleanup and repair damage to residential and commercial properties due to water, fire, mold, storm, or other disasters.


Duties and Responsibilities

• Complete pack-out and pack-in of customer’s contents, ensuring all items are properly documented and brought back to the warehouse for cleaning and restoration.
• Assists/helps with the pick-up (loading), transportation, and delivery (unloading and placement) of household goods/equipment.
• Routinely involves lifting, movement and placement of heavy items by hand or with the assistance of material handling equipment.
• May be required to pack, unpack and wrap/unwrap household goods items per customer specifications.
• Disassemble and reassemble furniture items
• Perform disaster response, emergency mitigation, water extraction, structural drying, and demolition, following IICRC standards.
• Set dehumidifiers, fans, air purifiers, and other equipment at the work site, ensuring proper setup and removal.
• Remove drywall, carpets, insulation, etc. and perform general demolition after a loss.
• Act as daily on-site contact for the customer, ensuring their needs are met and questions are answered.
• Drive company vehicles, including water trucks, trailers, and other machinery.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to perform demolition work, including climbing, working in extreme temperatures, and in confined spaces.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs.

Hours:
Full-Time, Permanent, Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm, Optional Overtime included.

• Participate in our 24 hours on call rotation, responding to emergency losses after hours and on weekends, as dictated by the on-call schedule.

Pay:
$18.00-$21.00 & Bonus Opportunities

About you: We are seeking hardworking professional team players who love helping seniors! This position operates directly under the direction of the Manager-On-Duty. The position has direct interactions with clients and members of the public at large. As a team member, you may wrap furniture, load our moving trucks and work with a team of movers depending on the project. General Responsibilities:

+ Reports to the manager-on-duty on time for their shift and assists team with the physical labor of wrapping furniture and moving clients' items to assist with client transition.

+ Greets clients with a smile and responds appropriately to customer issues

+ Prompt and regular attendance on assigned shifts

+ Communicates positively with clients, peers, and Managers

+ Provides exceptional customer service as you safely move, pack/unpack and stage/resettle client household items

+ Maintain company truck and moving equipment

+ Other duties may be assigned as needed

Qualifications & Skills:

+ High School diploma or equivalent

+ Packing and moving experience with a professional moving company (preferred)

+ Able to move various sized items, boxes and lift heavy items comfortably

+ Outstanding customer service skills

+ Professional attitude and demeanor

+ Experience in the fields of general labor or warehouse may be helpful

+ Must present a clean appearance

+ Ability to follow instructions or direction

+ LOVES working with seniors and team-oriented work!

Requirements:

+ Valid driver's license, transportation, and good driving record

+ Frequent walking and/or standing, bending, and stooping

+ Stamina to lift items (up to 50 lbs individually and as a team) frequently as needed

+ Flexibility with environments related to weather, client houses may be warm or cold
