You'll Excel in This Role If You Have:
5+ years of hands-on HubSpot experience (Professional or Enterprise tiers), ideally across custom onboarding, integrations, migrations, and implementations
A background in Revenue Operations, Marketing Ops, or Sales Ops-especially in high-growth B2B SaaS
Experience acting as a strategic consultant or agency partner, directly supporting clients
Strong technical expertise with CRM design, marketing automation, data migration, and reporting

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Senior IT Consultant to support our large-scale Epic migration to Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience with both Epic Systems (application and infrastructure layers) and Microsoft Azure (cloud architecture and services). This role is central to bridging the gap between clinical IT, cloud engineering, and third-party integrations during this critical healthcare digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities:Epic Application Responsibilities:
Act as the technical liaison to Epic TS for infrastructure deployment and readiness
Oversee Kuiper-based stamp deployments (App Stamp, Cogito Stamp, DMZ, etc.)
Support Epic modules (system and data) migration and readiness: EpicCare, MyChart, Clarity, Caboodle, Cogito tools, etc.
Support Epic ecosystem modules (system and data) migration and readiness.
Work closely with Epic analysts to configure non-production environments (SUP, TST, TRN)
Facilitate Epic software validation, ODB replication planning, and DR environment setup
Responsible for migration testing, integration testing and end to end sanity testing.
Azure Cloud Responsibilities:
Understanding of Azure Landing Zones, VNets, NSGs, ASGs, and ExpressRoute
Support VMSS Flexible orchestration, high availability, and zone architecture for Epic VMs
Implement Azure IAM/RBAC, Azure AD integration, and secure LDAP configuration to do application readiness
Assist in re-platforming SQL Server (Clarity/Caboodle) from on-prem to Azure SQL MI or IaaS
Ensure monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery best practices using Azure-native tools
Cross-Functional Responsibilities:
Lead technical workshops and architecture review sessions with Epic, Microsoft, and internal teams
Create and maintain runbooks, environment templates, and deployment guides
Drive technical cutover activities, incident response, and post-migration tuning
Coordinate with compliance/security teams on HIPAA/HITRUST enforcement in Azure
Required Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure and/or Healthcare Systems
5+ years of experience with Epic Systems in a technical or engineering capacity
Hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure, including networking, identity, and compute
Experience with Kuiper, Clarity/Caboodle ETL, and Epic DR strategies
Familiarity with stamp-based deployment models and Azures Cloud Adoption Framework
Experience with Epic technical coordination (TS/TSR) and Epic UserWeb resources
Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Administrator
Epic Client Systems Administrator (CSA) Certification
ITIL or PMP (a plus)
Soft Skills & Traits: Strong communicator who can operate at both executive and engineering levels
Analytical thinker with structured problem-solving approach
Comfortable working in a cross-disciplinary and regulated environment
Demonstrated ability to lead under pressure during go-live and cutover windows

OVERVIEW
As a Senior Implementation Consultant on our Professional Services team, you will be a key contributor to the digital transformation of healthcare across Manitoba. This role is central to successfully rolling out our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) to various ambulatory clinics and healthcare institutions across the province.
You will be trained to deploy numerous Altera applications, with a primary focus on the Sunrise EMR Core and Ambulatory functionalities, including related products such as DBmotion, CPM, Opal, and Patient Portal. In addition, you will provide expert workflow consulting services by following a structured methodology through all phases of the implementation life cycle. Your efforts will directly ensure the successful and seamless implementation and utilization of our solutions, moving clinics from paper-based to fully electronic platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement the full suite of Altera software solutions, with emphasis on our Sunrise EMR (Core and Ambulatory), at our client sites, primarily in Manitoba.
Perform all project workplan tasks in accordance with contracted project scope, functioning as a vital member of a larger project team (including PMs, Solution Architects, Clinical Consultants, and CMIOs).
Perform complex system configuration tasks, including providing high-level consultation and technical guidance on system configuration to clients.
Provide expert workflow consultation and guidance to clients on critical ambulatory processes, including registration, scheduling, and clinical documentation. You will be responsible for translating existing paper-based clinic workflows into an optimized electronic format.
Proactively identify, resolve, and/or escalate system and complex workflow issues that arise throughout your implementation project.
Provide comprehensive activation support; consistently meet or exceed client utilization and transformation targets.
Set appropriate expectations with various client stakeholders, from end-users to executive leadership (e.g., CMIOs), and expertly manage them throughout the project life cycle.
Anticipate client needs, function as a client advocate, and demonstrate exceptional stakeholder engagement skills to foster successful project delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS
Academic and Professional Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience required.
Work Experience
2+ years of hands-on healthcare IT implementation and configuration experience
Strong, demonstrated functional knowledge of an EMR/EHR system
Specific expertise in Altera Sunrise EMR (Core or Ambulatory) is preferred. Experience with Epic or Meditech is also valued if coupled with deep knowledge of essential clinic workflows (e.g., registration, scheduling, clinical documentation).
Must have experience working as part of a formal implementation project team that has successfully rolled out EMR systems.
Clinical background preferred (SME who has rolled out clinics).
Technical background, i.e. background in SQL or SSRS reporting preferred.
Proven client presentation experience; strong written and oral communication skill set, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders (technical resources to executive leadership).
Project management experience; skilled at managing numerous key priorities simultaneously during a long-term (e.g., 12-month) implementation cycle.
History of taking on roles, tasks, and projects where quickly learning new information is required; a "quick study."
TRAVEL
10-15% travel. Travel is primarily to provide critical on-site support during final go-live activities.
WORK ARRANGEMENTS
Remote role. Candidates may live anywhere in Canada. Ideal locations include Manitoba, Saskatchewan, or Calgary, Alberta.
Candidates located in the U.S. will be considered if they possess the skill set required, have a valid passport and are willing to travel to Canada as required.
