This is a ten-week internship (40 hours per week) during the summer of 2026 located within one of Amazon's fulfillment centers, sort centers, delivery stations or other operations buildings. As a Community Disaster Program Specialist, you will guide, lead and support teams of trained volunteers to deliver comfort and care in times of disaster. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Help plan, prepare and conduct programs for children (including but not limited to stories, games, and puppet shows) to encourage the use of library materials to create lifelong readers.
Performs reference and reader's advisory services using materials in a variety of formats.
Leads or helps lead the Teen Advisory Board to develop and implement programs designed for young adults.
Identifies reading trends among juvenile patrons and helps evaluate and selects materials of interest to children and young adults for purchase.
Creates displays to enhance the Library collection and to promote reading.
