RESPONSIBILITIES

What You Will Be Doing
This position will work at location in the greater Las Vegas, Nevada area.
As a logistics technician, this person will be an integral member of the technical interface team, supporting the on-site Customer, resolving issues arising from operations and / or maintenance activities. ROLE of the POSITION
This position exists to provide operational leadership, management, and oversight for day-to-day operations for Campus Recreational Services' aquatics and facilities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to managing daily aquatics operations to ensure compliance with department, facility and university policy and procedures; supervise (1) aquatics graduate assistant, (20-30) lifeguards, (10-20) lifeguard instructors, (10-20) water safety instructors; directly hire, train, evaluate and supervise student staff; assess, develop and implement program and educational initiatives in the natatorium; provide first aid, CPR and first aid certification training; Lifeguard Training; Water Safety Instructor Training; Lifeguard Instructor Training; budget management; equipment inventory; strategic planning and assessment; administrative functions; observe and resolve risk management and safety issues and provide 24/7 emergency on-call response as necessary. On-call response within 30 minutes. Some evening and weekend work required.
Program development -- participate in the development of comprehensive recreational services and provide guidance for the development of program initiatives for aquatics. Develop and implement, with Associate Director assistance, a comprehensive calendar of aquatics recreational programs and manage the process to assess student learning outcomes and the impact of the activities and agenda. The facility is open 16 - 18 hours a day during the week and averages 12 hours a day on the weekend. This position is responsible for ensuring the proper supervision exists for all activities and that the building is in the best condition (safe and clean) for all users and events.
Provide student staff training, development, supervision, and evaluation. Conduct in-service training and lifesaving - lifeguarding meetings with staff, and provide professional leadership and oversight for staff, equipment, inventory, and policy/procedure protocols. Provide and coordinate staff management, payroll, certification record keeping, and facilitate/coordinate aquatics programming (including, but not limited to, swim lessons, aqua fitness, masters swim, learn to swim, youth programs, etc.).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), and nine (9) months of undergraduate experience in collegiate recreation, athletics, or commercial/city recreation is required. CPR/First Aid/AED Instructor certification is required within 60 days of employment. Must be a current American Red Cross lifeguard certified. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.

GENERAL SUMMARY
Under the general supervision of the Adult Programming Supervisor or Performing Arts Center Coordinator, this position is primarily responsible for planning, developing and implementing programs, special events, and exhibits, building programming partnerships with the community, and for the oversight of room usage of assigned venues.
Description of hours and wages:
The pay range for this position is $29.47 to $39.50 per hour. Pay typically begins at the minimum of the pay range, and employees are eligible for annual merit and COLA increases per District policy.
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), FLSA non-exempt position.

Responsibilities

9. Prepares monthly reports, venue occupancy studies, facility usage schedule, and quarterly calendar information.
10. Prepares and completes a variety of forms, documents, and other paper work.
11. Maintains venue and department record keeping, filing systems, and a variety of statistical records.
12. Interacts extensively, in person, over the telephone, and via e-mail with customer groups, District-wide staff and management, outside agencies, vendors, and the general public.
13. Works cooperatively with other approved Library District staff to open and close facilities and maintains security of building access codes and keys.
14. Provides orientation to customers and explains the proper use of facility and equipment.
15. Troubleshoots minor audio-visual, lighting, and audio equipment issues.

What You Will Be Doing
This position will work at location in the greater Las Vegas, Nevada area.
As a logistics technician, this person will be an integral member of the technical interface team, supporting the on-site Customer, resolving issues arising from operations and / or maintenance activities. ROLE of the POSITION
Reporting to the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs in the College of Engineering, the Assistant Director of Career and Internship Services oversees all aspects of the College's Career Services Center. The position balances student-facing and employer-facing responsibilities while aligning with UNLV's workforce development and career-readiness initiatives.
The Assistant Director counsels engineering and computer science students and alumni on career readiness, internship pathways, and professional development. The role coordinates the College's industry mentoring program, organizes training workshops and career forums, and collaborates with the Director of Student Success to deliver tailored development programs. The position also expands student access to employment opportunities through job posting systems, mentoring platforms, and participation in both College-level and campus-wide career fairs, while supervising student workers who assist in service delivery.
In collaboration with UNLV Career Services and the Office of Workforce Development, the Assistant Director builds and maintains long-term partnerships with local, regional, and national employers in engineering and technology fields. The position promotes employer engagement through career fairs, networking events, on-campus recruiting, and sponsorships of student projects and professional programs. The Assistant Director ensures consistent follow-up, gathers employer feedback, and fosters inclusive hiring practices that support diverse and equitable career pathways for students.
Working closely with central Career Services staff, the Assistant Director ensures College of Engineering students are well represented in campus-wide initiatives, provides regular reports on career and internship outcomes, and serves on College and Departmental Advisory Boards. The College of Engineering, established in 1957, enrolls over 3,900 students across multiple disciplines, including electrical, computer, mechanical, civil, and construction engineering, computer science, engineering technology, and cybersecurity.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), and five years of experience in higher education or business development role. Credentials must be obtained prior to the employment start date.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
* 5-7 years progressively responsible experience in higher education career services, college recruiting, consulting, training and development, business development or relationship building and customer service role.

**What You Will Be Doing**
This position will work at location in the greater Las Vegas, Nevada area\.
As a logistics technician, this person will be an integral member of the technical interface team, supporting the on\-site Customer, resolving issues arising from operations and / or maintenance activities\. Coordinate the Life Cycle Sustainment Management by providing logistical support to the program\. This includes scheduling shipments or pick\-ups with functional departments and completing required documentation for CONUS and OCONUS shipments\. Monitor and status material movement to include providing the proper documentation to complete property transfers to various entities\. Coordinate and manage incoming material, assist with purchase requests, and address issues when a discrepancy occurs\. Work effectively with key stakeholders and internal functional areas in taking direction, answering questions, and handling issues that need resolution\.
The candidate will ensure the most efficient and effective processes are utilized in handling customer material\. Analyze demand history, and inventory related to operational requirements with all functional organizations, performing analyses, preparing reports to validate supply obligations, and monitoring expenditures\. Proactive in planning, scheduling, and executing tasks required to support operational activities\. Maintain a complete understanding and application of business principals, concepts, practices, and standards\. Work with inventory management systems\. Demonstrate in\-depth knowledge of cataloging process and logistics terminology\. Work with Microsoft software programs and systems\.
