DOJ/ICITAP is seeking an advisor who will be responsible for engaging partner governments to achieve these objectives: (1) strengthen the abilities of partner governments to detect, deter, and respond to terrorism and violent extremism by providing targeted technical, tactical, and leadership training; (2) support organizational change that recognizes the strategic value of women's participation and leadership in law enforcement counterterrorism efforts; and (3) promote the sharing of best practices related to counterterrorism investigations. This advisor will also provide professional training to partner governments that tailor country specific strategies to promote lasting change from within an agency that will ultimately contribute to the operational effectiveness in combatting transnational crime and terror.
