-Communicate any issues with sports participants, campers, or staff to management and/or camp participant guardians.

Provide direct support to students, counselors, teachers, administrators, and faculty/staff that directly relate to the current circumstance of the student in RSD.
Coordinate with counselors, social workers, and faculty/staff to arrange the use of outside resources.
Utilize monitoring criteria to measure the effectiveness of restorative practices being used as a basis to develop and implement enhancements at CMS.
Maintain an awareness of other restorative practices efforts in other schools throughout the United States and facilitate the sharing of experiences.
Report status monthly, or more frequently as required.
Meet with administrative and/or BLT representative on a regular basis.
Assist in training that involves Restorative Practices.
The RSD program is replacing in school support (ISS); the RSD coordinator might:
Monitor students who have been assigned to the RSD room for the duration of their assignment, as needed.
Assign and monitor appropriate restorative practice work for students during their RSD assignment, as needed.
Coordinate with classroom teachers and the ARC coordinator to assist gathering classwork for students during their RSD assignment, as needed.
All faculty members are assigned one (1) period per week in the student support centers (ARC and RSD). The ARC and RSD Coordinators will collaborate with the staff member assigned to that block, as determined by administration, to assist in the room where support is most needed; this need may change from period to period or even within a period.

Supervise and support Teen Adventure Trip staff: assist with training and continuing needs of Trip Leaders and manage any conflicts that may arise
Oversee all aspects of preparation and implementation of Teen Adventure Trips
Edit trip itineraries as needed, keep accurate trip records
Work with kitchen staff on bulk food orders, purchase specialty food and equipment items as needed
Confirm lodging reservations, activity/excursion reservations, and communicate with outside vendors and guides for all trips
Oversee expenses and trip budgets; assist Trip Leaders with submitting expense reports
Implement and follow Emergency Action Procedures as needed

Work Schedule

All members of the Wildwood Leadership team will work one intersession throughout the course of the summer with time off adjusted accordingly. Otherwise, time off will be two hours per day and 24 hours between sessions, from Saturday to Sunday. Any additional time off will be discussed and agreed to prior to the start of camp training.
Other Requirements Employees must successfully complete a CORI and SORI Background Check and a Motor Vehicle Record Check (if applicable).
All Mass Audubon Camp Staff undergo mandatory training prior to interacting with campers. Training includes: Natural History, Lesson Planning, Behavior Management, Games, and more.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**

Valid drivers license, proof of personal automobile liability insurance coverage, and access to a reliable vehicle for required regional travel. Mileage reimbursement is available for travel required for the role.

Requirements
A program specialist in a school-age program shall be at least 20 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent, including but not limited to a General Equivalency Diploma (GED), a High School Equivalency Test (HiSet), or a Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC), and have at least one of the following:
(1) Written documentation from or on file with the department that she or he was qualified and employed as a site director in a school-age program on or before the effective date of these rules in 2022;
(2) A minimum of an associate's degree in child development, education, recreation, or other field of study focused on children, awarded by an accredited college or university;
(3) Certification of successful completion of training as a recreation director plus 1000 hours of experience working with children in a licensed child care program, recreation program, or a public or private elementary school;
(4) A total of 12 credits in child development, education, recreation, or other field of study focused on children, from an accredited college plus 1000 hours of experience working with children;
(5) Current certification as an educator by the Department of Education; or
(6) Experience working with children totaling 2000 hours and:
a. Current certification as a para II educator by the Department of Education; or
b. Both of the following:
1. Documentation of enrollment in a course for at least 3 credits in child development, education, recreation, or other fields of study focused on children, through an accredited college or university and a written plan on file for completion of at least 3 additional credits as specified; and
2. Within 12 months of the date the individual begins working as a site director, documentation of successful completion of a total of at least 6 credits as specified in b.1. shall be on file for review by the department.
