RESPONSIBILITIES:
CUSTOMER SERVICE

BACK-OF-HOUSE

Assist the back-of-house stock team with the systematic processing and unpacking of new product deliveries, rebalances, inter-boutique transfers, and customer returns.

Getty Foundation grants are a key component of Getty's PST ART, empowering the region's nonprofit arts organizations to research, design, and implement groundbreaking exhibitions and programming under a unifying theme. In 2011, the first edition of PST ART, Pacific Standard Time: Art in LA 1945-1980, rewrote the history of modern art from the perspective of the region. In 2017, the second edition, PST: LA/LA, put Latin American and Latinx art in dialogue with Los Angeles. The third, recently completed edition, PST ART: Art & Science Collide, explored the intersections of art and science-past, present, and in the imaginable future. This landmark regional series will now occur every five years beginning in 2030.
The Position
Working closely with the Creative Director of PST ART and the Foundation Associate Director, the Program Officer will be responsible for PST ART grantmaking across the five-year cycle, including funding rounds for exhibition research and implementation, and for programming. The Program Officer will help develop grantmaking strategies; design, implement, and promote calls for proposals; work closely with grantee organizations to offer support and ensure success over the life of the grant; and regularly evaluate and enhance the grantmaking approach over time. The Program Officer may also support other grantmaking activities to be determined based on their skills and experience and on the evolving needs of the Foundation's grantmaking.

The Specialist interacts with internal and external customers and vendors to ensure a positive, consistent and distinctive event experience. The Specialist manages administrative and logistical tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic and high energy environment. The Specialist anticipates project needs, discerns work priorities, meets deadlines with minimal supervision, and is willing to work occasional evenings and weekends to support up to 30 CCRC-hosted events per year.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Within a team structure, this position will perform the following responsibilities:
* Responsible for developing, prioritizing and working on all aspects of CCRC agency events including both small- and large-scale meetings, trainings and conferences as assigned by the Supervisor. Assists with development of theme, negotiations and booking of event space, food and beverage, rentals and audiovisual equipment, and travel arrangements. Serves as primary vendor liaison. (40%)
* Conducts research, makes site visits and obtains required resources for each event. Proposes new ideas to improve the event planning and implementation process. Prepares, modifies and tracks event contracts and purchasing agreements, as requested by Supervisor. (30%)
* Works with Communications and Creative Bridge staff to create and manage event marketing and advertising materials, donation requests, raffle and promotional items, and event photography / videography. (10%)
* Assists in preparing event budgets, tracking finances including check requests, invoicing and reporting. (10%)
* Attends and participates in internal and external meetings, team and department staff meetings, and professional development and teambuilding activities. (10%)

· Maintain a current TB test.
· Maintain current BLS/CPR certification and pass physical and drug testing.
Qualifications
