You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.
Education: Candidate must be enrolled/pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Microelectronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or related STEM field with 3+ months of educational or industry experience.

DHS WIRED is a student/early career development program that is a partnership between PNNL and DHS to engage Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU), Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSI), and other Minority Serving Institutions (MSI) to provide research-based experience for students who are traditionally underrepresented in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) majoring in both STEM and non-STEM focused fields.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist category managers with the development and implementation of strategic sourcing and procurement processes.
* Achieve optimum service cost while ensuring high level of quality/service and the respect of delivery targets.
