Position Overview We are seeking a Process Engineer Intern or Co-Op to further develop and scale our PFAS Annihilator SCWO technology. The position is based in Columbus, OH. The role reports to the Chief Technology Officer. Key Responsibilities for your projects could be: Lead the process design and scale-up of Revive's PFAS Annihilator system. This could include development and optimization of PFDs, P&IDs, process simulations, and performing mass and energy balances, etc. Drive continuous improvement of SCWO reactor and salt separation subsystems to enhance throughput, minimize fouling, extend service intervals, and improve overall system availability. Provide engineering support to field operations by resolving emergent technical challenges across the fleet; conduct root-cause analyses and implement durable corrective actions in collaboration with site teams. Specify, size, and select process equipment including high-pressure pumps, heat exchangers, valves, blowdown systems, and instrumentation with a focus on SCWO service conditions and corrosive fluid handling. Support and participate in process safety activities such as HAZOPs, risk assessments, and safety reviews for system modifications, commissioning, and new deployments. Partner with fabrication and commissioning teams to validate system designs, resolve field integration issues, and accelerate the implementation of design upgrades. Analyze operational data from commercial and demonstration units to extract performance trends, identify bottlenecks, and guide engineering decisions and future designs. Contribute to Revive's technical knowledge base by developing and documenting process improvements, system modifications, and standardized design modules for future deployments.
