Encova Insurance will have a need for an Intern, IT Security Operations. This is a full-time summer internship for summer 2026 and will require someone who can work at least 40 hours per week. JOB OBJECTIVE:
The Security Operations Intern will assist higher level specialists in cybersecurity measures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide timely detection, identification, and alerting of possible attacks/intrusions, anomalous activities, and misuse activities and distinguish these incidents and events from benign activities.
Perform security incident triage, to include determining scope, urgency, and potential impact; identifying the specific vulnerability; and making recommendations that enable expeditious remediation.
Work on various Information Security projects and initiatives.
Perform user account clean-up.
Perform Security platform clean-up, including intrusion detection tuning, asset list validation, etc..
Build reports, dashboards, alerts, and automation in SIEM tools.

For college students interested in engineering design for the built environment, CMTA has a robust co-op program for students pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Architectural Engineering. We offer an opportunity for students to immerse themselves for one or more semesters in the consulting engineering world. Our co-ops build industry competitive skills in a hands-on environment, all while working on a team, and being trained by Professional Engineers in AutoCAD and Revit. The skills our co-ops learn allow them to create real construction drawings for real CMTA projects.
This position is a full time (40 hrs./week), **onsite position** with a competitive hourly pay rate and eligible for overtime pay. **This position will start in August 2026 and go through Fall 2026.** Dates are flexible with school calendar. Our hope is that the co-op students that are hired will do multiple co-op rotations with CMTA with possible consideration for full time employment upon graduation.
**Job Description:**
This position provides a unique opportunity for hands-on training in mechanical/HVAC/Energy design. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work well with a team, and independently. Our engineers will teach you how we design and implement mechanical systems/infrastructure and implement energy efficient measures in our building projects. This is a great opportunity to work on some of the most challenging and complex MEP projects and become an important part of our design team.
**Job Functions: (may include but are not limited to)**
- Produce detailed layout and equipment details of HVAC systems,
- Produce one-line diagrams/schematics,
- Assist the design team in the process of assembling organized sets of drawings,
- May assist in the data collection and/or field verification, and
- Work in conjunction with designers and engineers to help develop all aspects of a project.
**Requirements:**
- Pursuing a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering, preferably a sophomore (2nd year), or junior (3rd year),
- Strong interest in Building Systems Mechanical Engineering,
- AutoCAD and REVIT experience preferred,
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills,
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel,
- Ability to work both independently and with a team,
- Ability to work full time in our office throughout the co-op term,
- Ability to travel locally for job site inspections, field work, etc.

As an AMRE Technician Intern at Cencora, you will have the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a hands-on, real-world environment focused on maintaining operational excellence within our distribution centers. Our aim is to develop the next generation of supply chain leaders who will contribute to our growth in a rapidly evolving industry. During our 10-week summer program, you will work closely with a mentor, gaining valuable experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment and systems. You will learn to perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs, while enhancing your technical skills and understanding of safety protocols. At the end of the summer, you will present your key accomplishments and insights to the Leadership Team, showcasing the contributions you made and the skills you developed throughout your internship. Below are some of the activities in which you can expect to participate.
Responsibilities:
· Learn about maintenance and reliability principles as they apply within the distribution center.
· Learn effective preventative maintenance plans and schedules for all facility equipment and systems, contributing to overall operational efficiency.
· Learn the importance of safety protocols related to team members and equipment within the distribution center.
· Diagnose error conditions related to Materials Handling Equipment and Automated Picking Systems occurring in the Distribution Center and perform necessary repairs.
· Oversee maintenance, modifications, and system upgrades of Materials Handling Equipment and Automated Picking System controls to enhance performance.
· Assess the efficiency of materials handling equipment and automated picking systems, recommending and implementing necessary modifications as required.
· Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks to ensure continued productivity of warehouse operations and minimize downtime.
· Learn the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system by documenting repairs required and performed on equipment in the Distribution Center.
· Participate in the inventory of spare parts, ensuring that necessary components are available to support maintenance activities.
· Perform related duties as assigned, demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to take on new challenges within the maintenance team.
Qualifications:
· This is an entry-level position requiring 0-3 years of related experience with progressive responsibilities or a combination of education and experience.
· Completion of an associate degree program, trade program, or equivalent combination of experience and education is preferred, but not required
· Basic experience in electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
· Basic understanding of automated systems, equipment and overall theory of operation
· Must not require sponsorship to work in the US now or in the future
