Internship Description
We are currently seeking enthusiastic candidates for a summer internship opportunity, running from May through August with a hybrid schedule.
As a Salesforce Intern at U.S. Hunger, you will gain hands-on experience assisting our Salesforce Administrator with the daily management of our Salesforce platform. You will be involved in various aspects of Salesforce administration, supporting user management, platform configuration, and data management. This is a great opportunity for someone who is eager to learn about Salesforce and develop technical skills in a real-world environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with user setup and deactivation, role assignments, and permission management.
Help manage and resolve support tickets for Salesforce users.
Collaborate in making configuration changes such as modifying page layouts, fields, and approval processes.
Support data management activities including data imports, exports, and quality checks.
Assist in generating reports and dashboards to help teams utilize data more effectively.
Participate in testing and troubleshooting of integrations with tools like Google Suite, Mailchimp, and other business systems.
Support ongoing user training by developing self-service documentation.
Requirements QUALIFICATIONS
Basic knowledge of Salesforce (Trailhead badges are a plus).
Interest in learning about Salesforce administration and data management.
Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Apps is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
SOFT SKILLS
Eager to learn and grow within a supportive environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with various stakeholders.
A service-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist the Salesforce Administrator and team members.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Google Apps and Microsoft Office Suite
Pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or relevant certifications).
