Position Summary
The Service Center Engineer - I.A.M. Intern will gain hands-on experience in the areas of Identity Access Management (I.A.M.) and Information Security. This role offers exposure to the tools, processes, and governance practices used to manage digital identities, system access, and security permissions across the organization. Working closely with the IT team, the intern will contribute to access control projects, automation initiatives, and documentation improvements that strengthen the bank's cybersecurity framework.
Primary Accountabilities
Participate in the Access Review Campaign, assisting with analysis, tracking, and reporting.
Support the automation of onboarding and offboarding processes to improve efficiency and compliance.
Help update and improve documentation and workflows for identity and access management operations.
Analyze access patterns and permissions to identify potential anomalies or risks.
Gain hands-on exposure to Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Access Management (AM), and Privileged Access Management (PAM) systems.
Collaborate with the IT Service Center team to understand and assist with day-to-day I.A.M. functions.
Participate in mentorship sessions focused on security concepts, compliance, and governance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
Position Qualifications
Education/Experience:
Currently enrolled in an Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field of study.
Strong interest in I.A.M., IT Security, or Service Center operations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams).
Demonstrated initiative and eagerness to learn new technologies.
Internship Details:
Internship duration: Must be available mid-May through late July 2026.

Job Requirements
The Intern must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited University, majoring in a technical field of study. The student should be graduating within the next 12-18 months and possess strong technical and organizational skills in addition to excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Department: Human Resources (Rising Together Foundation) Position: Foundation & Community Impact Intern Program Duration: 10 Weeks (June-August) Location: On-Site with Some Flexibility The Foundation & Community Impact Internship offers students a hands-on experience at the intersection of banking, nonprofit service, and financial empowerment. Interns will work alongside the Rising Together Foundation (RTF)-Midwest BankCentre's charitable arm-to advance its mission of expanding access to capital, financial education, and community development resources. This internship is ideal for students interested in HR, nonprofits, community engagement, financial wellness, or youth empowerment.
Interns will contribute to real projects, such as designing youth education initiatives, supporting donor and partner communications, and helping to coordinate programs that promote financial wellness across the St. Louis region.
Core Responsibilities
Youth Financial Health Project:
Develop a Youth Engagement Plan and supporting outreach strategy.
Draft youth-friendly curriculum on topics like budgeting, saving, credit, and responsible borrowing.
Recommend and help implement digital learning tools to enhance education efforts.
Assist with piloting youth sessions and gathering participant feedback.
Program & Operational Support:
Support community events, research, and logistics coordination.
Prepare materials such as flyers, presentations, surveys, and communications.
Maintain tracking tools for donations, partner engagement, and program metrics.
Organize digital files, assist with internal reports, and contribute to Foundation documentation.
Desired Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program (3rd year or above preferred; all majors welcome).
Interest in nonprofits, marketing/communications, community development, or education.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Canva or design tools a plus.
Detail-oriented, self-starter mindset, and commitment to service and learning.
